On 8/27/2023 I purchased a 2023 KIA RIO from Greenway At The Avenues in Jacksonville Florida. The agreement at the time of purchase was to pay $17,000 and that I also must finance the car. The sales quote on the Retail Installment Sale Contract was $19,291.27 with interest. The finance amount was $19,291.27. I was told at the time that the Service Contract ($888) and the Maintenance Plan, ($1,200) which was added to the finance amount, would be cancelled when the loan was paid off. I paid $17,000 on 9/18 to KIA Motors Finance. I On 9/20 the dealership gave permission for Greenway to cancel the Vehicle Service Contract and the Maintenance Plan. Next I paid $352.52 more on 10/5. I then considered the loan, with the expected return of about $2,000 to be fully paid. The request to cancel the Vehicle Service and the Maintenance Plan were sent once again from the dealership on 11/4. Not only did I not get $2000 credited back to me after the cancellation, but now I am being charged a series of seven car payments of $344.57, with a total amount due $2,065.60. In effect I am being charged $19,000 for a car for which I agreed to pay $17,000. I expected a charge for the financing, but not to pay $2,000 more. This is a scam. I want an immediate cancellation of future car payments and return of the $2,000. Management at the dealership disclaimed responsibility. It was pointed out that I didn’t have to agree to this financing, and that is true. My other option was to not buy the car that day, as those were the terms. More

I had some warranty work to be done and when I got my car back, there was a small scratch in the paint. This was my first time using this facility and I’m really glad I did. Everyone there spoke to me and asked if I needed anything. They were all so friendly and helpful. He didn’t pressure me and I never felt he was just trying to up sell. He did a great job explaining everything to me. The work was done in a timely fashion and correctly.
