DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME.!!!!!
I bought a beautiful 2006 4runner in this dealership. Thank god the truck was fine.
The bad part was that it came without a spare tire, when I realized (couple days later) I tried going back to fix the problem seeing if they would provide me one, it took me DAYS to get them to agree. First they told me it was stolen off my vehicle, then they tried getting me to pay half of the expenses and finally they took one month and a half to get me my spare.
Absolutely ridiculous........

Sales: my salesman was very persistent and aggressive seller, but I was going to buy the truck anyway.

Parts: Well the spare wheel they got for me was used. probably from a junkyard, the sensor on it was bad. When I returned to the dealer to speak to service I was treated like crap. Parts took more than one whole month to figure the whole sensor situation.

Service:
Service is horrible, there is a service writer by the name Tony, if he doesn't see money involved in any question of the costumer this guy is rude, and basically treats you like crap.

Our visit to Grossinger Chevrolet was very nice and felt very important. Fred was a friendly and pleasant man and made us feel like we were the only ones there. He was very encouraging and worked with us to get us the car we liked. I would highly recommand my friends and family to Grossinger Chevrolet in Palatine. I will be returning to Grossing if ever I wanted to buy another car. They are the friendliest people that work there. So Thank you sooo much Grossinger Chevrolet!

Had a good experience, overall. We purchased a niche vehicle and our only complaint was that the staff didn't know much about the car-- we had to do quite a lot of independent research.

Staff was very friendly, knowledgeable, and helpful. They did not have a Cruze with the options I wanted, but my salesman, Anthony, found one at a dealer in Wisconsin, and picked it up himself. I had it within two days. I had upgraded the sound system, and that was scheduled for a day’s work. I was given a loaner for the day, and picked up the car on the way home that day. Everything was flawless! My experience at Grossinger Chevrolet was easily the best I have had in many years! My salesman, Anthony, took the extra time to make sure that everything went perfectly, and that the car was exactly as I wanted it! Ceasar, in the Finance department, also made sure that everything went smoothly, despite the fact that I had filed for bankruptcy a couple of years before.

Gary Grossinger and the folks at his dealership went out of their way to ensure that I had a great customer experience. This was the first time I had bought a car in over a decade and I had a lot of questions. They were patient with me, responsive to my calls and always available. I had dealt with another Chevy dealership in Illinois and I had a horrible experience. I walked away from Grossinger with the car I wanted, at the price I wanted & with a smile on my face! Leonard (sales) was GREAT to work with. I highly recommend working with him. Their finance manager (Cesar) was very knowledgable and patient as well. The financing process was quick and painless. I bought a 2012 Equinox-- so far, I have no complaints. It drives well, has an excellent safety rating, looks sharp, is very roomy inside and it has all the "extras" that I was looking for. Overall, I'd recommend this dealership to any family & friends who are in the market for a new car!

My experience was a good one as far as buying a car. Prior to this visit I found buying a car to be dredgeful. This time it wasn't that way at all. I was not pressured and everything went well. Thanks Grossinger staff for making this experience a pleasant one. I am happy with my purchase!!!

I brought in my Chevy Equinox for a few items such as an oil change, tire rotation, speaker replacement, etc. When I called to see if I could wait for the car, I was told I could and they would try and get me in right away. Not only did they take my car right in and start working on it, I was out in no time. During my visit, the Service Manager, Tony, was also proactive and noticed that my passenger window was operating slower than it should be. He determined that the motor was going bad and ordered me a replacement. Always a great experience and highly recommended.

People need to be aware of this dealer. They can get anyone over 530 credit score financing, which is the only good thing. Everything else is horrible. They will get an approval from a bank for a interest rate at 9% but will write in the contract up to 23%, they get that extra percentage in pocket. I have a friend that is a manger at another dealer and told me that is how they make money. So be aware of this. They do not really care about you, they are only in it to make money off you. They will say your approved but are really not! They rush you through the paper work, as well as will not show you carfax report upon request. DO NOT GO TO this dealer!!!!!
