I had the worst customer service at this dealership. I got there around 7PM and was there till 9PM. It took them an hour before they let me test drive the car. They were talking rude with me the whole time i was there. I went to so many dealerships(Nissan, Toyota, Pontiac, Honda, Mitsubishi) no sales man or store manager talked so rude with me.

It took them hour to find trade in value of my car. Other car dealerships I went to took less then 15 minutes. After they found the trade in value of my car. They finally pull their car out and we went for test drive. Before we went to test drive Gary( a salesman , or DicK) kept on saying 4 people came to buy this car we did not sell it because they asked us to reduce the price. We did not reduce the price by even one penny. This is before i saw the car. He kept on saying it again and again. After test drive. I ask how much my 97 maxima GLE is worth ( fully loaded). He said $500. My car kelly book value for trade in is $3750 and private sale is $4800. I asked them how much will the car cost me out of the door without trade in. He said ruddly i told you the price before $15000 nothing less. I am not sure why he was getting mad at me. It is the first time i met him. I said give me some time to decide.

He said the store manager have your car keys. I went to the manager. When you meet someone you shake hands and say nice to meet you. He did not introduce himself and said loudly " So why are not buying the car. I am not selling the car for less". I said you guys made less offer to me for my maxima. I really like the price of your car but i need more for my maxima. He said best we can give you is $1600 and i thought it is a good price i didn't want to go through the hassle of selling car on cars.com

I said here is my credit card i am willing to put $500 down and will pay you the rest tomorrow. Gary said I will take the money but if someone comes in the morning to buy the car i will sell it to him.

I got ticked off. I said "Why my money is not green" He said if you want me to hold the car. Pay me $15000, I will hold the car for you as long as you want. I grabed my keys and left. While i was walking to the door. Gary said "What are getting upset about, It is what it is"

I called Chevy corporate and reported my complaint for this bad experience.

My Review of Grossinger Chevrolet:
Gross is all I can say about Grossinger.

They are great...UP UNTIL YOU SIGN THE PAPERWORK...then you no longer count!

They over charge, do math "tricks" and add in things and then talk and write so fast that you don't know what hit you until after you leave and read the paperwork....and then just TRY to get them to fix it.

We were told a car was $XX out the door, to me, and everyone else I have talked to that is tax, tile etc...out the door....oh, no...it was just the car, with a "detailing" package added in that they never even asked about. They went on and on about how we would get FREE oil changes and detailing for three years....but that is the special "Detailing" packaged that they added in ....free my a**.

My husband sat in there showroom for 4 hours to have that removed from the contract. When I called and got Gary Grossinger voice mail and left a message...low and behold, the man that my husband was waiting for called ME in FIVE MINUTES, but couldn't be bothered to WALK OUT to the show room and take care of a CUSTOMER that had been waiting for FOUR HOURS.

DO NOT GO TO GROSSINGER!!!

My Review of Grossinger Chevrolet:
I've had worst experience with this dealership. I was so frustrated I had lost 3 hours in there that i can't reccomend this dealer to anyone. They are bunch of liers. This is how it was ( I am sorry if I made some mistakes, but I am not a native English speaker):
I stop there cause I wanted to buy a 2004 chevy cavalier and they did have thaht vehicle. I asked the employee what's the price (there was no price on any car and I didn't want to waste my time if it was too expensive) but he said he cannot talk about that before he show me the car and before I test drive it. I agreed, he showed me the car and I indeed test drove it (the car was OK, just the first gear was strangely "long"). Then he took me to his desk and after 30 minutes of talking we agreed on $7300 for the car (the internet price was $7995). That's where my trouble started. He asked my to fill some paperwork and asked me to wait for a financing manager ( which was strange, cause I wanted to pay cash for the car, but I agreed one more time). And I stood there for over an HOUR before someone called me to the office. The financing manager smiled to me and was very kind (watch for that kind of behaviour, if they are too friendly, there is a chance thaht they are trying to trick you somehow) he put all the papers on the desk and he gave me the pen to sign the car receipt (I calculated that after tax and title I will pay something around $8100). Guess what? The final price was $8860. They added some kind of fee and when I asked what is the $620 for the guy said " This is for advertising and delivery of the car". Could you imagine that? Advertising? What the.. I have to pay for advertising of their car? Delivery? I wanted to take the car right from the parking lot and I don't care from where did they take it? I told them thaht I am not going to pay anything more than the agreed price and thaht I am leaving (the guy started to fill up the title, stupid morron). He said he is going to deal with and asked me to give him a couple of minutes. It was the time I should have run for the door. After 2 more managers and their shitty talk (they told me thaht they can lower the fee to $320) I finally got up and leaved. When I reached the door the guy yelled at me " Hey, common, we have put the plates and washed the car already". We just smiled (I forgot to say that I was with my friend who have a better knowledge on cars than me) and left the dealer. I'm sorry for boring you so long, but please, don't even consider going to crossinger chevrolet. Worst experience ever!!!!!

My Review of Grossinger Chevrolet:
My husband fix the brakes on our 2002 Chevy Suburban. While driving from Naperville to Wisconsin, we had a brake emergency and needed 2 bolts. We pulled into Grossinger and they weren't helpful at all. Asked us 3 questions: 1) did we buy our car from them; 2) did we have our brakes repaired by them; and 3) do we want to see any new cars!?!?! I would NEVER recommend them to ANYONE for ANYTHING!

My Review of Grossinger Chevrolet:
You have to go out and write the car numbers down of what you are interested in. The dealer then shows you vehicles that you do not even want. I was there the entire day trying to get financing. They fail to provide final prices until after you buy the vehicle if then. They give you a math trick to make you think you are paying less then the actual monthly payment. I am paying $35,000 for a dealer demo, when I could have gotten a brand new one for practically half the price. DO NOT GO TO THIS DEALERSHIP.

My Review of Grossinger Chevrolet:
They make you go out and write down the car number and they don't tell you the final price until you get it, sometimes not even then. Before you get a vehicle you have to wait practically all day. When you call for a follow-up after a purchase, they rush you.

My Review of Grossinger Chevrolet:
i have had the worst experience in a car dealership customer service that anyone could imagine. two weeks in a row, i sat for more than 5 hours each time with your sales people taking care of people who came in after me , not communicating properlythe sale terms, then waiting to the last minute to explain. this is the second time this has happened to me and some other people i know. it's a shame that we ,as customers should have to put with foul language and rude sales people when we have our children with us. you have lost my whole family as customers, and anyone else that will listen. thank you

All I can say is I had an absolutely horrible experience with this dealership, and I wish I had never gone there. They will lie through their teeth to tell you want you want to hear, and never deliver on their promises.

My Review of Grossinger Chevrolet:
Do NOT buy 2007 Chevy Cobalt (Red) VIN #1G1AK15F277135170. It is a vehicle that was supposedly purchased and used for a month. After 30 days, the dealer stated they could not get financing and wanted the car returned, although their contract states the "dealer has 15 days to terminate the contract as a result of the inability to obtain third party financing. ... Dealer agrees to return the Customer's down payment." It was returned with 2000 miles. Don't let them mislead you into believing anything else. This car was driven regularly, and in the summer months, the smell of cigarette will be very noticeable.
