My Review of Grossinger Chevrolet:
First of all let me start by saying Robbie, my salesman was very freindly, very pleasant to deal with. However, to make a loooong story short, my experiance was decent untill I agreed to buy a car and they came over to tell me, "sorry, it's already sold."
Why am I even test driving somebody else's car? After coming back 4 times they found me a car at the price I wanted $9000 out the door. I went in to meet with a really big finance guy, his name was Anthony. I wanted to put $5000 down on the car, but they would only accept $2000 I left happy with a new car. A few days later I was called in to meet with Anthony again, who told me they needed another $800 down for the bank. This was not a problem since I had wanted to put more down to begin with. I re-signed the papers, they looked ok. Only later when I really sat down and looked at them, I see a new $600 charge under a line called (DEALER INSTALLED OPTIONS (SEE#9 ON BACK))Well, #9 on back was rustproofing. I bought a used car, you don't rustproof a used car. This is not something they did, offered to do, or even discussed doing. I called that night and spoke to a Mgr, named Kevin. (I don't believe he was a mgr) He told me that this was a charge from the bank for financing me. How is this possible? Anthony told me I needed $800 more down, not $800 extra! Nobody would fix the problem. I don't believe this is even legal. I will be writing to the attorney general this weekend! The sign outside is right. Don't make a gross mistake!
