Unusual Process I was looking for a used truck. I drove to the Doral showroom on a Thursday evening (90 minutes in traffic). The truck I wanted to look at was on the I was looking for a used truck. I drove to the Doral showroom on a Thursday evening (90 minutes in traffic). The truck I wanted to look at was on the lot, but locked and the sales guy couldn't find the key. I went back on Saturday and had to drive the sales person 25 minutes to another location to look at trucks. I bought one and I am happy so far with it. However, when I left the showroom and was getting on 836 to head east to I-95 I noticed the low gas light flashing. The engine started to sputter and I just managed to get of the highway on 57th (about 2 miles east of the showroom) when it ran out of gas and coasted to a stop. I managed to find a station that sold gas jugs, so I eventually made it home. I found the website search process was good, but the viewing process is tedious and inefficient. Having driven 25 minutes from the showroom to a lot with 100 or so trucks, I could only look at the 2 I had selected on the website - strange. That said, the sales people were fine and did their best despite the unusual process. More

Financing Nightmare - Stay Away! After test driving a car and deciding to purchase it, the financing nightmare began. It took over 2.5 hours to get the financing taken care of. They acted like they were doing me a favor by financing me although I had perfectly good credit. After more time, they said they lowered my rate, however it became clear later on we got cornered into a longer payment period with a huge finance fee. They took advantage of the fact they had us trapped there for almost three hours waiting to get our car. Fortunately in the end we were able to get it fixed by going to our own bank and financing through them. While we do love the car we purchased, we feel the dealership is not up front about it's financing. We were not happy with that at all. I will say the one thing we didn't have a beef with was the actual sales person, he was quite easy to deal with. Yes, they have huge inventory... Yes, there are some great deals... BUT DO YOUR HOMEWORK! Walk into this place with cash in hand or with your own financing already lined up. More
