Sold me a 2009 Tacoma that's a total lemon. They claimed they did a 100-odd point inspection, yet within 1 year of buying it I've had to replace: the alternator, AC condenser, water pump, 6 coi They claimed they did a 100-odd point inspection, yet within 1 year of buying it I've had to replace: the alternator, AC condenser, water pump, 6 coil packs, entire rack & pinion system, ABS actuator (a $2k part!), and fix an exhaust leak. Avoid this place like the freaking plague. More

I can't rally speak for the rest of the dealership, but stay away from salesmen Colin McMahon unless you like fairytales. 1) he told me that the $500 fee was for "government regulations" and they had no stay away from salesmen Colin McMahon unless you like fairytales. 1) he told me that the $500 fee was for "government regulations" and they had no control over that. False, it was for registration (estimated), and as it turns out they refund the difference, but I wouldn't have known that unless I talked to his manager a week later 2) he said that they could not bring the vehicle to NJ and I had to make another 6 hr RT to pick it up. False, turns they can and did drive it to NJ, after I pressed the sales manager about it. 3) he told me that they had to collect out of state sales tax. False, NJDMV told me they can't do that - as a result I almost had to pay it twice. 4) Lastly, he's strung me along for 10 days telling me the refund check was in the mail. False, he told me twice it was mailed on 1/21 and just today I got the Fedex (after having to follow up with him yesterday and inquire). Tracking shows it was mailed out last night. Really? You didn't think I'd check?? Those may seem trivial, but when added together you get a guy that is disingenuous, at best. I hope this truck holds up because now I don't believe a word he said to me about it. Can't wait to see what they sell my trade-in for and how much he ripped me off on that. Go somewhere else or demand a different salesmen; he's what all the bad connotations are about a "used car salesmen." And Colin, if any of this is wrong, let me know how. I gave you a chance ... ____________________________________________ Ok, follow up. General Manager Jason Higgins called me the very next day to follow up on where they tripped up. I've seen some other responses that merely said "please call if you'd like to discuss." So Jason's proactive approach and effort is appreciated. My salesmen Colin is still learning, which is why some of the things he told me were inaccurate. I don't believe there was intended malice or deception. All four of those items I mentioned above were a result of just not being totally informed. I accept this as a teaching/training moment. I wish him luck in the future, as well as Jason in his new role as GM. More

2nd New Vehicle Purchase We had recently worked with Paul Carmon on the purchase of a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD pick up truck, and we let Paul know at the time that we were also We had recently worked with Paul Carmon on the purchase of a 2019 Toyota Tacoma TRD pick up truck, and we let Paul know at the time that we were also interested in the 2019 Toyota Rav 4. As soon as these vehicles came in, Paul sent us a video of the vehicle inside and out with a brief overview of all the many features. We immediately made an appointment with Paul for the next day. As he did the first time, Paul greeted us at the door right on time with a big smile and warm handshake. Even though he was very busy, the car was all set for us to take for a test drive. We knew right away that this was the car for me! In a very short amount of time, Paul had arranged for the trade in and financing. We then sat down with Finance Manager Drew Nicastro who had the paperwork all ready for us to review and sign. Drew was very knowledgeable and capable with all aspects of the paperwork. As it was later in the day, we arranged to come back the next day to pick up the vehicle. Again, Paul was very busy but was right on time for our appointment. He sat in the car with us to explain in great detail the many features that this car has to offer. He also helped me to download some apps on my phone to assist with the set up. Paul is very knowledgeable about all aspects of the many vehicles that he sells. He also sent a follow up email asking if I needed any further assistance with anything regarding the vehicle. Absolutely love my new Rav 4 ! A huge thank you to Paul Carmon, Drew Nicastro, and the entire Haddad Toyota Team!!! More
