Friendly, curtious service from Cody as usual though felt perhaps bit better attention to details of actual work is warranted. Thermostats were replaced on my duramax and all seemed fine on 15 mile drive ho perhaps bit better attention to details of actual work is warranted. However, 'low coolant' level came up upon starting the next morning and the coolant lever was indeed almost to bottom in the reservoir. I know that a detailed protocol is outlined filling the coolant on these, and the low coolant levels suggest full procedure was not thoroughly implemented. Of course, I may have the wrong expectation here such that low coolant is common event with best efforts in which case a caution to me would have been nice so I could keep an eye out and be prepared as needed. I did have the proper coolant on hand to fill reservoir to minimum and everything seems to be holding full after 70 miles. More

It is what a company does when things don't go right that truly shows the character and value of that company. I live south of Brigham go way out of my way to purchase our GM vehicles and have my service do truly shows the character and value of that company. I live south of Brigham go way out of my way to purchase our GM vehicles and have my service done on them at Hansen because of the integrity this dealership has. Recently there was a recall on my GMC Sierra because the upper grill may become detached. The recall that GM specified was not to replace the grill; but to remove it, break all the tabs off and epoxy them back on. My truck was taken in to have this done and it was completed per the service bulletin but 4 days later the grill became detached going down the freeway destroying the grill and causing damage to the hood. I called the service department and let Cody Varney know what had happened. He didn't try and blame GM or anything else, he just let me know that he would order the parts and it would be taken care of. When the parts arrived I was contacted and they replaced the missing parts, took my truck to a body shop to have the hood repaired and everything put back into proper order. I am sure GM did not reimburse them for all of this and it was not their fault that GM went on the cheap with the recall, but they also knew it was not a customer issue so they went above and beyond to take care of it. I would highly recommend Hansen Motors and their service department for excellent work done with great integrity. Cody in particular has always been upfront with me on everything and truly has the customers best interest at heart. More
