I have been leary of dealerships due to past experiences so I was hesitant, but ultimately made the call. The process was very smooth and surprisingly painless! Dan Collins picked me up from my job in downtown Indianapolis and drove me to the dealership where I was able to complete the purchase. I told him what I wanted and he made it happen! I was very stressed before I was picked up because the car I had was my only means of transportation and broke down for good the week before. I live in Hendricks County where there is no bus service and I had no idea how I was going to keep getting back and forth to work until I was able to purchase a new car. Dan knew that I was stressed over this situation and made my experience a great one! He was very sensitive to my needs. I was treated with the utmost respect by all individuals I worked with and it has completely changed my perspective on going to dealerships to find a new car! I wish that I could recommend Hare since the people there are very friendly and pleasant. However, they lowballed my trade and said it was worth $6000. They had a very similar car on their used lot sticker are very friendly and pleasant. However, they lowballed my trade and said it was worth $6000. They had a very similar car on their used lot stickered at $15,000. I'd already had recent trade-in appraisals at other dealerships ranging from $8000-$10,000. When I laughed and said they were way off, they said they'd "try to make the deal work" and came up to $7500. I traded the car at another dealer a few days later for $9500, and also got a great deal on the purchase of my new car at the same time. There's nothing wrong with making a profit, but lowballing by $3000-$4000 is just not good business if you want anyone to come back. More
