As we worked through the deal on a 2012 RAM 1500, the final, out-the-door price was very important to me, but it was Chris' personal touch and warm personality that closed the deal. The simply fact that I was willing to make a 6 hour round trip to buy this truck indicates how comfortable I was with purchasing from Chris and the Hayes dealership. I left the dealership driving a new truck and feeling like I had made new friends that I can count on in the long run. I would do it all again and I will in the future. Great staff and good deals. I put in a request to my buying service for a new truck with fairly specific options and color choices, a black on black Ram 2500 Laramie. Mark promptly sends me an email stating that he does not have t with fairly specific options and color choices, a black on black Ram 2500 Laramie. Mark promptly sends me an email stating that he does not have the truck that I want and tried to put me in a white on grey Ram 2500 ST. I told him that I do not want white, he replied that he did not have a silver truck in stock that I requested and that he could find it for me and wanted the info on my trade in. I re-read the request and it did state that the vehicle requested was black. To add fuel to the fire, I in no way did I ever indicate that I was trading in a vehicle; however, the salesman started talking about tradein and payoffs etc before we even found the right vehicle, talk about pushy. I sincerely hope that this will be a wake up call to Mark that reading comprehension is key in conducting business and that if he wants to put me in the total opposite truck that I requested, he should have gone all the way and tried to put me into a sweet Dodge Dart in purple or better yet, a used Hyundai Excel of a 1986 vintage in red like that one in Boyz in the Hood... you know, the one that they shot Ricky in. I'll take my business to someone who cares. More
