NEVER go to Herb Chambers to buy a used car. First, I was sold a lemon. Literally, the car had been submerged in water and a creature had been living in the engine (no exaggeration). Then, I took advantage of their money-back guarantee (which starts on the day you sign the papers, not the day you receive the car... I didn't actually get the car until 5 days after I signed the papers... what a great policy...). I was forced to deal with them with the process of trading it in and they treated me like they were doing me a favor. They never made phone calls that were repeatedly promised, the salespeople dragged their feet and tried to use every single dirty used car salesperson con in the book. I had to make ten separate trips to the dealer before getting my car. Then, they sold me a 2010 vehicle without the remote-access device and tried to charge me $200 for it!! RIDICULOUS! More

I have reviewed this dealership for a few reasons. This is by far the best experience I have had at a cealership, and I have been to quite a few. The customer service given by Ryan McDonnell was tremendous is by far the best experience I have had at a cealership, and I have been to quite a few. The customer service given by Ryan McDonnell was tremendous. He was extremely knowledgable and happy to answer all questions related to a variety of vehicles. He was very patient and gave us space to look around and wasnt all over us the second we walked in the door. He first greeted us and asked if there was anything specific we were looking for. Since we told him we werent sure he told us a few facts about each of the cars and then told us to look around and to come see him if we had any question. So certainly we had questions and since he wasnt so pushy we were happy to go back to him and give him our business. I will certainly recommend this dealership, and this salesman in particular! This was the worst experience I have had with a dealership! The salesperson was very friendly and professional. I had a mixed experience at Herb Chambers, started bad, ended good. I was going in as a young female, first-time car buyer. I had a specific idea of what I wanted and a car picked out. The main complaint was that I was promised phone call updates that didn't take place until I complained. The lack of phone calls led to me not being told that the car I wanted had been brought to the dealer and the car being given to someone else. Fortunately, the other buyer's credit wasn't great, so by chance, the first salesperson's mistake was rectified. Thomas, the second salesperson, came into a situation that wasn't great and made the most of it. I was angry, at that time Thomas took over, the dealer had nothing I was interested in, and he was put in charge of trying to make me happy with inventory I didn't want. Not an easy task, but he lucked out when the car I wanted was returned. By the time I decided on the car and took a test drive, I was laughing because of Thomas. He made the paperwork as painless as possible. So overall, good experience. More
I would like to just express the comfort I feel purchasing my vehicle from Herb Chambers dealers. I just traded in my Honda Accord that I purchased (used) from Herb Chambers Toyota and brought to H purchasing my vehicle from Herb Chambers dealers. I just traded in my Honda Accord that I purchased (used) from Herb Chambers Toyota and brought to Herb Chambers Honda every six months for my oil change. I have never had any problems with this vehicle, but decided to trade it in for a Ford Explorer that I purchased from Herb Chambers Ford of Braintree, because of a new addition to the family.
