I visited many car dealerships over a two week period in search of a new car. The team at Herb Gordan differentiated themselves as being professional and upfront in their dealings. They were very fair with my trade in value and the rebates/financing for the new vehicle were very competitive. The team allowed me to drive home the manual and automatic models I was considering for purchase which really helped me to make the right decision.

I started buying Nissan vehicles in 1982 and that's the only vehicle brand I've driven since. I've dealt with many people over the years at Herb Gordon, many who are not there anymore and have received nothing other then great service in all capacities. The sales department as well as the service department are great and the Herb Gordon staff knows the proper way to treat their customers. Kevin Yi, the new car general manager is great and very knowledgable. In the service department, George Margelos who I've been dealing with for a long time is extremely knowledgable and a real people person. On the mechanic side both Ray and Barry are 2 of the fine top notch mechanics I've ever dealt with. They do their work with expertise and when you get the car back it's fixed correctly, they interact with the customer personally and the vehicle is always returned neat and clean. I just dealt with Paul Schiavone today in the service department and he's another example of the Herb Gordon team that goes out of their way to give excellent customer service.

Our salesman was OK, nothing special. But HGN gets our 5 stars because once we started dealing with Pre Owned Sales Mgr Ramesh Deonarian, our experience went from "ehhh" to "wow." The car we'd come to see didn't grab us. But since Ramesh buys vehicles for HGN at auction, he had just received two other '09 Muranos that weren't yet on the website. One, a platinum graphite gray SL 4WD really caught our eye. We olged it inside and out, but in the light of day, missed something - modest hail damage to the hood. Ramesh said to us "this vehicle is outstanding, but I need to take care of the hood before it goes home with someone. I need to be happy with it before I expect you to be happy with it." Great approach; the car had to please HIM as much as it had to please us. Long story short, we bought it and took it home, knowing it had a two-days-later appt. with "his guy" to make the hood perfect. Want more great service testimony? How about the dealer General Sales Manager Larry Signora (who we were introduced to, and who lives in our Mntg Cty suburban town) offering to drop off a loaner car and pick up our Murano for its appt.? Wow, and this after we'd already said yes to the purchase. All goes well; I get a call from Ramesh mid/late afternoon that his dent guy did "excellent work," but there was this one dent a little too large/needed to see body shop/get fixed/and then have the whole hood repainted. Again, we were impressed with "if it wasn't good enough for Ramesh, it wasn't gonna be good enough for the customer." Yes, it took two extra days, but I had the loaner. Got a call as promised, picked it up, it even had gas in it! Our HGN buying experience was way above the norm for a car dealership, they'll be seeing me again for future vehicle needs.

Herb Gordon Nissan has consistently earned our loyalty and business for nine years and four consecutive Nissan car purchases (Maxima, Murano and two Rogues) because they are a professional and honest sales team (in a business where it is often difficult to find professional and honest) offering the well engineered and well designed and appointed Nissan automobile. Internet Sales Manager, Kevin Yi, has been offering straightforward, no nonsense pricing to us for years, and in our experience, he has been a leader among his peers in this regard. General Sales Manager, Larry Signora, has also been with Herb Gordon throughout our nine year relationship with the dealership, as have many other team members. Herb Gordon Nissan is a very dedicated and passionate team of individuals who are career driven to build lasting relationships with their customers. Our most recent purchase was handled by Bruce Kim, who works with Kevin Yi in Internet Sales. Although we had not previously met Bruce, he gave us his undivided attention and seamlessly coordinated our purchase of a fully equipped 2012 Rogue, while offering us an unbeatable price, as always. Our four consecutive car purchases with Herb Gordon Nissan reinforces our belief that they are a Best in Class sales team offering a Best in Class customer experience for a Best in Class vehicle.

My husband and I bought two Nissans previously from Herb Gordon and knew that when the time came to replace my car we would return. I loved my Maxima and kept it for 15 years. We had been in contact with our salesman, Jim Porter, for at least two years while I was making up my mind to say goodbye to the Maxima. Jim was exceedingly patient and when I finally decided, he had just what I was looking for--a gorgeous taupe-colored Altima. I have to say my sales experience could not have been easier--Jim was great to work with--very professional, informative and helpful. I ended up making the deal on my own. had done my homework and think I got a good price. I really love the car and am happy we made the decision to go with a Nissan again. On another note, we returned to the dealership today to take care of a minor windshield wiper problem. After a brief wait, we were on our way with new wiper blades and problem solved. I must also recommend George in the service department--he was very friendly, courteous and helpful. While there, Jim took time to explain some additional features of the car that I was unsure of. Once again, he was very patient, helpful and easy to work with. We have no hesitation in recommending Herb Gordon Nissan--a wonderful dealership, the Nissan--a wonderful automobile, and Jim Porter, a wonderful salesman

I shopped around various dealerships in the MD/VA area to lease a 2012 Nissan Maxima with Limited Package. Kevin Yi provided all the details via email that I requested, and agreed to a phenomenal price which was a few thousand cheaper than the other dealerships. He ensured that the car was washed and with a full tank of gas before we got to the dealership. Upon our arrival, Kevin introduced us to Ron Hong who would help oversee the entire purchase process. Ron was very friendly and personable, and took the time to go over the car in great detail. He was patient as I thoroughly inspected the vehicle. He updated us constantly as the manager appraised my trade in, finance ran my credit app and verified the numbers that Kevin provided were on point. The entire process took less than 2 hours and it was definitely a satisfying experience.

Before I decided to buy my first car ever, I already had one particular car in mind. The next step was to find a car dealer, which was easy. Only had to browse for offers and read reviews from the website. Herb Gordon had great reviews, so I decided to give it a try and I was not wrong. I was attended by Mr. Noah Black, who was very nice, pleasant and professional as well by Mr. Kevin Yi who was equally nice, straight forward and with good sense of humor. They did their best to help me out meet my finances and my car of choice. I was very satisfied with their services as well as the other staff who were there on the day I pick the car. Everything was prepared and ready for me, from the car to the final paper works, which did not take long to complete. I will gladly recommend Herb Gordon to my friends and colleagues. You're the BEST!

I was so impressed with this dealership!! The sales manager, Bruce Kim, was absolutely great to work with. I started my new car search in early January and originally inquired regarding a Murano. I think I changed my mind at least 5 times b/t new and used, model, color etc., however Bruce was extremely helpful in answering all my questions in great detail. Once I finally came to the dealership I did a total 180 and went with an Altima, but he was able to give me the best information and made the entire purchasing process extremely easy. The day I came to pick up the car, I came in with a whole new set of last minute questions (mainly related to financing) but he was still patient and took the time to walk through everything until I was comfortable with the purchase. Car dealerships usually have a bad reputation for trying to push people into buying a car, but I can say that this dealership is the one exception to that rule - especially after talking to other dealerships in the area. Herb Gordon Nissan was over an hour out of my way, but the Sales Manager so professional and helpful it was worth the trip!!

I had a horrible experience at the Nissan Pohanka in Salisbury where I live. I contacted Herb Gordon by email to give my self a second chance (because I really wanted to purchase a Nissan Rogue...) I have to say, GLAD I DID! I drove 3 hours, but it was so worth my time. Sales person was GREAT and others were very nice, friendly and so willing to make your experience a one of a kind. My husband and I would go back to this dealer again for sure.
