My trade could have been higher but this was a popular car and they knew it. Managed to negotiate a fair deal and my daughter is happy with her new car. One area of improvement could be a review of their online payment process. While trying to reserve the car until we could come to the dealership to test drive my online payment was rejected 3 times. Upon inspecting my checking account, three payments posted in error without authorization. No lasting impact but inconvenient for an on-line payment portal not to work on-line. More
The customer is always right! Purchased my 2005 Envoy with 61000 actual mikes. Drove it home and it ran hot, engine light came on. My salesman Tim picked it up at my work the next Purchased my 2005 Envoy with 61000 actual mikes. Drove it home and it ran hot, engine light came on. My salesman Tim picked it up at my work the next morning and brought me a loaner. They did provide me with loaners the entire time but if they needed to show the car I would have to arrange to meet them or they would come get the loaner I was in so I couldn't keep necessities in the car. About a month later I got my Enviy back. All seemed well Then I noticed that the needle on the battery icon never was charging, always below. Had to take the vehicle in to have a piece put on the seat and asked about the battery/alternator. Was told it was a floating needle. It came time for my first oil change which was complimentary. At this point I was told the air filter needed changing $48 and something that should have been changed in their certified pre-owned check. Also the wiper reservoir would not hold water. I had never used it. Told it would be $71 for that to be fixed. Needless to say neither were fixed. They did not feel responsible. I never received a copy of the checklist they go through for used vehicles. Mine was a 1 owner and originally purchased at Heyward Allen. I called the used car manager and spoke with him He assured me he would pull my file and get back with me. Two weeks went by so I called my salesman Tim and was told the used car manager had resigned. So here we go again. Salesman was to give my file to new used car manager and it's been months. Never heard from either. And approximately 3 weeks ago I was coming home late at night after being out with friends and my lights went out. But I went elsewhere because I I felt like they would not care. Then I get an email since it's been a year since I purchased my car. The kicker was the statement in the mail "The customer is always right!"" Haha. And I imagine I will soon be replacing my wiper washer reservoir (since it want replaced) and eventually an alternator or battery since no one at Heyward Allen took the initiative to help a woman who lives alone and leaves home at 5am for work and that fact was put forth when purchasing the vehicle. More
