April 2022 front wheel bearing went out and I took my 2014 Ram 1500 to Hill/Kelly for the repair. After all they have the technicians, special tools and parts for my truck. I paid the invoice and recei 2014 Ram 1500 to Hill/Kelly for the repair. After all they have the technicians, special tools and parts for my truck. I paid the invoice and received my truck. On the invoice it states I would have a two year unlimited miles warranty on the repair work. September 2023, 17 months after the work the left front wheel bearing is going out. I went to Hill/Kelly to talk about the warranty and replacing the left front wheel bearing under their warranty. The service adviser I spoke with that day tells me there is only a one year warranty on the AFTER MARKET wheel bearing they installed. I did not authorize nor was I aware Hill/Kelly technicians put an after market wheel bearing on my truck. It has been a month with going to Hill/Kelly and calling Hill/Kelly with promised call backs from Trent, The customer advocate seems to want to help, but so far no response to my request for Hill/Kelly as to why After Market parts were installed on my truck instead of MoPar parts and when they are going to honor the warranty stated on the invoice. Customers beware it appears what you think you paid good money for may not be what you actually got. I understand good work ain’t cheap and cheap work ain’t good.
