In California the dealership was always friendly, did good work, but as always was OVERPRICED. Upon moving to MA I decided to continue to go to Honda, particularly Honda North. I can honestly say that I NEVER want to return. In fact I will only return if I have to. First, I called twice and asked if when I came in for an oil change if someone would take a look at my car because it was making a noise. Upon arrival I was told by the service agent that they would not look at my car and would only be able to complete the oil change. Ok, well as the car was being serviced it was OBVIOUS that something was hanging from the bottom of my car. I asked the advisor if there was anyone who could take a look and he said "No". I then asked if he noticed that there was something hanging from the bottom and he said, "Yes, I see it" I asked if someone could please take a look, he said "No" and that I would need to schedule an appointment. I don't get it, in plane sight its visible that something is wrong with my car and I'm at the service department and NO ONE is willing to take a look. They even completed the oil change staring at the thing hanging from the bottom of the car and no one even mentioned it to me. I had to notice it on my own and ask questions about it. The advisor then told me that it would be around 60 dollars to have the car looked at. When I called to schedule an appointment I was quoted 115. I also want to mention that I asked the advisor if the car was driveable and he chuckled and said well have you been driving on it... Well, instead of coming to Honda North for service I went to a Mechanic who looked at my car for FREE. I was informed that my Front Sway bar was broken and that it was hanging from the front. I went to another Mechanic, who checked it for FREE and he said the same thing. They both also advised that I be cautious when driving and that I have the car repaired soon as it could become unsafe with all the potholes, especially when turning. Service at Honda North is HORRIBLE. Another thing that happened at Honda on this same visit... The guy who completed my oil change said, it looks like you have a leak somewhere because I saw spilt oil around the engine. Do you think that he was able to tell me about the leak. NO. I was told you need to schedule an appointment. I later found out that the leak was probably related to the CRAPPY repair job that I had done this past year at Honda North. I came in for major service there and left with damages caused by the Honda North mechanics. To sum up my experience Honda North is the WORST service repair shop especially dealership that I have ever been to. Honda North is where you can expect to receive POOR SERVICE that is way OVERPRICED, but hey at least it's Honda certified. More

They claim to be a True Car certified dealer that stands by their word and their price. The true car certificate price of this vehicle was $21,999. I was thrilled to see this price and I drove from New York to Danvers, MA to buy this vehicle. When I got to the dealership they said they would offer me a more aggressive price of $20,355 for my business and choosing there dealership to buy my new car. I was in shock that I was getting such a deal and I was truly excited to buy my new car. I signed the paperwork and was assured that I would have my car registered by the Friday of the next week. The great experience was short lived. On the Friday that I was supposed to be picking up my new car I left straight from work to the dealership. As I was sitting in traffic I received a call from my sales rep Josh Hersey that vehicle is not registered and I would have to wait another week to get my car. I was very disappointed but I new the wait would be well worth it. After I had picked up my car the following Saturday I had noticed that my vehicle had 40 miles on it. When I signed my paperwork and originally looked at the car I was going to buy it had 15 miles on it. My paperwork and the contract that I signed said the vehicle was going to have 15 miles on it. I immediately walk back into the dealership and ask my sale rep what the reason for this is. He tells me that my car was driven to the body shop because it had a scratch on the driver side door. My sale rep was never intending on telling me this. I walk out of the dealership frustrated and bring my car home. Now as I pull into the driveway and take a long look at my vehicle i notice a dent on the upper portion of the driver side door. I also look at the rest of the vehicle and notice that the detail department did a horrible job on my car because there are very fine swirly scratch marks all over my vehicle. I am now paying for all this to get fixed out of pocket. On top of everything I am receiving threatening and harassing phone calls from Jameel Nichols and the sales department that the dealership is now denying the military discount they had promised me when I bought my vehicle and signed in my contract. I have received three calls today at my job asking me to pay the fine of $500 dollars to them. I told them if I wasn't approved for the military discount then that's fine but they should have made that clear when we were negotiating the price of the car. Now I need to drive all the way back to New York to try and get the necessary papers that I need to prove I was in the military or face a $500 dollar fine. I contacted my attorney and told him the situation that i was going through. My attorney told me that they are conducting unlawful business practices at this dealership and they are violating Massachusetts state law Section 93a of the Attorney Generals Council and to file a formal complaint against them. He also told me that I have legal options to bring the sales department manager to civil court to file a Trouble Damages lawsuit against them. I told the Sales Manager that have not decided to go this route yet but I would just like to resolve this situation. He told me to either go back to NY and get the papers that I need or give them my car back and take back the car that I have traded in. I have gone through a tremendous hassle in buying this car. I have spent around $1500 out of pocket and face another $500 charge. I don't know what to do. More
