I am the actual owner of a 1986 Honda Accord with 439,000 recorded miles. I look for two things with car dealers: 1)CUSTOMER SERVICE 2)MECHANIC EXPERTISE. I have been with Raulerson for 12 years. One doesn't make the mileage or the years that I have on this car without those two ingredients. Recently, I had to have the carburetor replaced. They ordered the part & replaced it in a timely manner. Shortly thereafter, I encountered a minor problem with the idle of the car. Keep in mind that this is not a computerized car where you just plug in a module & off you go. It is more involved that that. I gave the vehicle to Nancy the service writer, & proceeded to the waiting area for some coffee & a doughnut. After a short while I went to investigate the status of the repair. With Nancy helping another customer, I went back & looked through the service back door window. There, I found the Service Director Charlie dressed in a long sleeve white shirt & tie along with the Service Manager Richard also in a long sleeve shirt under the hood of the vehicle correcting the problem. NOW THAT IS WHAT I CALL A KODAK MOMENT. My regular mechanic Larry was out sick. Both gentlemen stepped right up to the plate to remedy the problem. I later found out that both individuals are experts with older Honda Vehicles using carburetor systems. That speaks volumes of what Raulerson is all about. This incident coupled with the years of fantastic customer service & mechanic expertise that they have provided has earned them a 5 star rating by me. More
Overall a pretty good experience. I got a new 2010 Honda Fit. The car is nice and not too expensive. They got the payments close where I needed them and I got afree year of the scheduled maintenance. The finance man had me sign a million papers, but he explained them pretty well. It all could of been faster, but overall, not a bad experience More
They lie. Whatever they say to make the deal is quickly forgotten as they make changes to what was agreed on. GET IT IN WRITING. Too much pressure to make the deal as quickly as possible made me very uncom forgotten as they make changes to what was agreed on. GET IT IN WRITING. I took my Ridgeline in for a recall repair on the wiring harness. While there the mechanic managed to find that I needed new motor mounts ($550), new rear brakes ($350), replace struts ($600)and other asso harness. While there the mechanic managed to find that I needed new motor mounts ($550), new rear brakes ($350), replace struts ($600)and other assorted items for a total of $1500. I was astounded. I left and took my truck to two ASE rated mechanics and asked them to check these things. None of the above could be verified. The mechanics both reported that other Honda owners had reported the identical repair recommendation, independent of car model or mileage. I did need to have the transmission fluid changed, which I did. Two years ago, I took my 2004 Pilot in for the 60K check up, cost $487 (they changed the oil and transmission fluid). I then drove the car to Flemington, NJ, and noticed oil leaking from the engine. I took it to the local dealer who discovered that Raulerson had not tightened the drain plug on the oil pan. They only wanted $125 for this 2 minute task. After some arguing, we settled for $37 for diagnosis and repair. These are reasons you should be careful buying a Honda from a low rated dealer. More
I was not satisfied. Driving home, the car felt exactly the same as when I brought it in. I'm not sure if they even fixed my car. I would not recommend taking your car here. Very overpriced as well. Being in FL, stock of 4x4s isn't that great so what we were looking for is pretty limited. It just so happened that there was this blue 4x4 CRV in stock at the WR Honda dealership that just arrived. I thought to myself what luck given the limited stock of those SUVs in that configuration. The price Charlie quoted me was fair not cheaper. just above hovering around what edmunds.com and consumerreports.org specified. We decided to get the car and I asked to get a new TAG. So they put in the calculation (with taxes) for me what the total cost would be. And I was satisfied with the price overall. Then proceeded to signing papers. (Big Mistake!) When I went to get my NEW tag from the dealership, I owed them more money than I thought I would have. I thought what could have happened? I looked at the bill of sale and to my HORROR that they put in the price for a TAG TRANSFER and put the difference into the car invoice, thus effectively raising the price. At this point I had no choice but to pay for the difference. about $75 Now what I am trying to do, (or given up) was to get at least some explanation why is that so from the people I dealt with. I expected that I wouldn't get my money back, which was not that much (WAY within my purchasing budget) but at least I was hoping they would be gracious to admit the mistake and try to compensate for it (maybe give me a honda hat or something) This "small" (big) detail just really gave a BAD TASTE to the overall buying experience. So far I am happy with my new CRV but to recommend anyone I know to that dealership? HECK NO. Go to coggins toyota in JAX. At least they talk to you fair and square. More

When we initially settled on a car, he scribbled the price on a piece of paper which he did not give to me. The day of the sale and pickup of my new car, it was no longer the price on his scribbled piece of paper. A price I could still see written on papers he had on his desk. He now quoted me a higher price. I agreed and wrote out a check. Then, after a few minutes he returned with all the papers and asked me to write yet another check because they had made a mistake. The price was now higher again. Woody is a salesman to be avoided. Unfortunately, I would have to surmise that the management of this establishment supports Woody's salesmanship techniques. Although I use their service department and have almost always had exceptionally good work done, I will no longer be buying Hondas from this dealership. More
