My Review of Honda of Hayward:
Seat in my 99 Accord was extremely loose so took it to Honda of Hayward for repair. They charged me $60.00 for an estimate, telling me that it needed a new seat track. They estimate that the part would cost $1,100 and labor to install it would be $300. This seemed steep.

I then took it to my Cougar mechanic (1970 Cougar XR7 Convertible -- totally cherry). They agreed that the seat track needed to be repaired or replaced. However, they said it could be sent to a professional welder and repaired.

This I did at a cost $300, including installation. This happened about 6 months ago. Part is working fine and I am satisfied with the repair job.

My Review of Honda of Hayward:
So I went to this dealer last month. One guy helped me, and I stated I was just looking and did not want to buy a car today, so at this point he decides to get somebody of my "ethnic background" to assist me in buying a car. How rude and racist, PLEASE DONT BY FROM HERE. I was shocked at how unprofessional I was treated. Business must be really bad for them if they are acting like that......

My Review of Honda of Hayward:
This was the most horrible experience i had in my life.
When i called, i described the exact vehicle i was looking for and told that i will not be compromising anything on it. I was given a quote over the phone and was told everything will be ready when i drop in there.
I fixed the date and time to make the purchase and reached about 15 mins after the decided time. To my surprise, they didn't even have the car which i was promised will be there. They said it will be there soon and that we can do the paper work till then. I refused to any paperwork for a car i haven't seen.
The big surprise was still to come. Markus said he can't even get the car until i do the paperwork. He would not define what 'paper work' was since no one will sign for a car which he/she has not even seen. To add to that, he said it will take few hrs for the car to arrive and wanted me to wait there till then. Have you ever heard of a dealer refusing to show you the car until you buy it??

I finally managed to leave the dealership and asked him to call me whe the car is ready. In couple of hrs, he called up and told he doesn't have the car. I will be providing this information to Honda as well. Hope they close their shop so that prospective buyers don't get harassed like i was.
