I would not recommend this dealership, especially the service department. Our family has purchased 5 vehicles from them over the years and we're taking all of our business elsewhere due to their dishones service department. Our recent experiences involve the Service Department trying to scam us on brake repairs that weren't needed. One case was a new civic that they claimed needed new brakes at just 21k miles to pass inspection, and even though brake inspection was fine at 25k, by 31k needed "Immediate attention". I declined, inspected the brakes personally, and found them to be in like-new condition. Took the car to another service station who didn't report any issues. Took photos, and tried to address with Service Manager Dave Vagt and GM Jason McLean who doubled-down on their lies. When exiting the dealership, I overheard them trying the same scam on another customer, explaining how her new Honda urgently needed brakes because she didn't drive it enough. Then they tried a similar scam with my wife. A year later, a different dealership reported that the civic brakes were still "like new". Wife also declined and has gone almost a year with her same brakes as well. Never again. I have the paperwork, emails, and photos to support my claim More
I've had my 2018 Civic for a couple years. In that time I've put about 50k miles on it. Since I've owned the car my brakes have been replaced twice and now they they need 400$ of work (the rotors need to b I've put about 50k miles on it. I can't believe that a car should go through 4 sets of brakes (including the original) in that amount of time (one set of brakes lasted less than 4k miles). When I asked the dealer for assistance I was told this was normal. More

Tried to scam me Please do not trust this dealership. I took my car here for a state inspection. I was told it needed new tires, all new brakes/rotors, $1,800 in repai Please do not trust this dealership. I took my car here for a state inspection. I was told it needed new tires, all new brakes/rotors, $1,800 in repairs total. I knew something was off because I just had a flat tire, and I was going to replace all 4 but I was told the rest looked good. But this is when it gets really disgusting. After handing me this massive bill, they then try to push their repair financing credit card on me to pay for it... To top it off, they never gave me an official vehicle inspection report, which the state requires they give with each inspection. When I called them about it later, they said their "printer was broken". If that was true, why not tell me about it earlier? Probably because they didn't do a real state inspection but still charged me $40 for it. I decided to get a second opinion at a mechanic I knew was honest, and they passed it without even mentioning any of the things Honda of Keene said needed fixed. I think they saw a young guy in a nice car and thought they could take advantage of me. I will be reporting this place to the state for failing to provide an official inspection report, and I will also be reporting this incident to Honda since they do not deserve to be a licensed dealer. Awesome dealership for service. I have a 2001 Honda Odyssey and the pricing for a 200,000 mile service beat either of the other two dealerships that we checked. Would definately recommend this dealership to anyone and I am trying to get my mother in law to switch dealerships. More

Every time I go into Honda of Keene I have a great experience. Everyone from dealership are polite and friendly. I would tell anyone who was looking for a new or used car to go to Honda of Keene. I was looking to trade in my Honda Accord for a new CRVand was referred by my daughter that Honda of Keene was the place to go so we drove 1 1/2hours to get there. The staff was very knowledgable and very accomodating to all my needs. I was able to get exactly what I wanted with out a hassle.or pressure to buy. I was able to drive a variety of models to ensure that the CRV was going to be a fit for me. It was a very enjoyable experience as often decisions are wanted on the spot and pressure of missing a deal is at risk. Jason Mclean made sure that if I wanted time to think that would be fine the offer would still be on the table. I went home thought about it and called back in the morning to seal the deal. Upon picking up the car all necessary paperwork was complete and ready to sign. They were very organized and had great follow through. There were no surprises. This dealership has the most unbelievable tactics I've ever experienced. I have brought my car in to have warranty service done and have been stonewalled from the start. After sitting for over an hour, Sh ever experienced. I have brought my car in to have warranty service done and have been stonewalled from the start. After sitting for over an hour, Shawn came in and told me that they "ran a diagnostic" and "didn't find any problems" so they didn't do any work. THis warranty was supposed to include a free oil & filter change and a tune up. He said they had to order parts and could I come back on Monday. (A Honda DEALERSHIP had to order parts for a TUNE UP?) He said he'd call on Monday morning to tell me when to bring the car in. No call. I called and left a message with Maureen, his sidekick in the "Service" department. No return call. Also, while I was waiting there on Friday, the day they "ran the diagnostic," I witnessed Maureen in the most shameless strongarming of, literally, a "little old lady" who (supposedly) needed brake work. She quoted an outrageous price to have 2 drums machined and new brake pads for 2 wheels. $350?! More than DOUBLE what it is done for perfectly well at Midas. The woman balked and was undecided. Maureen leaned in and said "It's a light day (so why couldn't they do my oil change?) and we can put two techs on it for you and get it all done." She kept pressing. The lady held her ground and caved only to having new wipper blades put on (to the tune of $42!!) For WIPER BLADES. These people should be shut down. DO NOT buy a car or have one serviced at Honda of Keene, NH!! More
