Purchase of New 2017 Honda After establishing which 2017 Honda we desired (we had test driven approximately a dozen Asian branded vehicles over the past several weeks), and havi After establishing which 2017 Honda we desired (we had test driven approximately a dozen Asian branded vehicles over the past several weeks), and having determined which dealer accessories we were interested in purchasing, we created a list of a half dozen Baltimore Annapolis dealers we wished to approach for a "out the door" quote, this including a trade-in for our current Acura (we had had the Acura evaluated the day before from an independent source and knew the approximate value of the vehicle). When meeting Mr. Thompson, we laid down the specifics of the purchase, the nature of the trade, and the exact amount we were willing to pay "out the door". We were met with a straightforward analysis of each of the component parts of the purchase, and after agreeing to the numbers we stipulated to, purchased the vehicle that day. The dealer's promise "to deliver you with a simple, honest, and hassle free vehicle purchase experience" turned out to be accurate in this case, and we were most pleased with the manner the transaction occurred. Surprisingly comfortable We needed a car by 2/13 so we started what we thought would be a long, drawn out, uncomfortable process at Honda of Owings Mills on 2/10. Our credit We needed a car by 2/13 so we started what we thought would be a long, drawn out, uncomfortable process at Honda of Owings Mills on 2/10. Our credit was not the best but, none the less, we needed a vehicle. Brandon showed us the type of car we were interested in and then we sat down to do the paperwork to see if we could get the financing. We were approved for the car we wanted and our payments were so low that we will probably be able to double up payments to pay it off extra early. Brandon is very knowledgeable and personable. Larry, in finance, explained everything clearly and as painlessly as possible as we signed, but we already knew what he was talking about because Brandon was so thorough! Overall this was the most comfortable car buying experience I've ever had! I will be a repeat customer! More

I personally have bought 2 cars from Honda of Owings Mills in the last 4 years and it all starts with a salesman that doesn't give me the run around. The salesman I've dealt with for my 2 purchases was Mark Honkofsky. Mark is the same salesperson that my daughter was working with as well. Mark not only started with the best price he could give her, but it also was the lowest when I compared the price to other Honda dealerships. Mark was also very professional and thoroughly took the time to explain every aspect of the new Honda Civic that my daughter was buying. His was kind and patient and that's exactly was a new car buyer needs for their first purchase. He also mentioned that if there was anything she didn't understand to feel free to stop in the dealership at a later date and he would happily answer her questions. The last step in the car buying process was to meet with the finance director who was Lane Pijpers. Lane really took the time to explain the best payment options and wasn't pushy on the upsells which made the overall experience that much better. If you are looking for a great car buying experience from beginning to end, I would highly recommend talking to Mark and Lane at Honda of Owings Mills. That's makes the 3rd purchase from them in the last 4 years and each was just as smooth. More
