I have purchased several vehicles from this dealer over the past 10 years and it couldn't be any easier. My most recent purchase was an '08 F-150 4X4. Timing was right as the incentives made the purchase possible. The salesman had assured me that he had several trucks on the lot, but when I came down to look, each one was missing something that I wanted and I really didn't want to compromise, so he made an on-line search and found what I was looking for with the necessary options. They had to travel out of state to pick up the new truck a few days later. The new truck did not have the wheel to wheel running boards that were important to me,however, so they made arraingments to switch the ones from my truck to the new one. This ended up having to be done at the original installers facility in another town at no additional cost to me, which meant both trucks had to be delivered to the installer. They were accomodating in other areas as well, such as providing a rental vehicle and quickly correcting a problem with one of the doors on the new vehicle. The salesman was friendly (it helps that we both enjoy the outdoors and had lots to talk about) and the process moved along smoothly. I will check with Irwin's first for my next vehicle purchase. Can't remember the sales person I dealt with at Irwin but it was a good experience. I had previously purchased a truck at a...well, sales intense dealership off I-93. So they were the first to go to when I sought a trade in. Barely made it out alive. Talk about over-the-top, aggressive sales. They just wouldn't take "no" for an answer (I never buy on the first visit). Anyway, the next Ford dealership was Irwin's in Laconia. The salesman was new so he hadn't been influenced by the all-too-often aggressive nature of car sales. And his knowledge of the Ford I was interested in was minimal (I was telling him about the car by the end of my first visit). Anyway, he was pleasant. Didn't ask about the Toyotas/Scions as I only buy domestic. In the end, I got a good deal and some extras on the vehicle (bug guard, etc.) Overall, good experience. Oh, and their wait area has wi-fi so I can plug in my laptop and work while waiting for my oil change. More
Irwin's does a great job in sales and service. The only problem I have had so far is it seemed to take a little longer than it normally takes. I think they were running a little behind schedule. As their time is valuable, mine is as well so just a little dissapointed. It won't stop me from going there again. More
