I participated in the Kelley Blue Book Instant Cash Offer program on 9/29/22 and obtained a $2582.00 established value for my 2014 VW Golf. That offer went out to 3 dealerships James, Tradition, and Auction program on 9/29/22 and obtained a $2582.00 established value for my 2014 VW Golf. That offer went out to 3 dealerships James, Tradition, and Auction Direct of Rochester. I chose James as they were the closest and had the most communication. They inspected my car, established a value, and disclosed the value to be the same (2582.00). I was able to view the dealership’s assessment of the 2582.00 offer on their computer. Then the sales/inspection person discussed the offer privately with the General Manager (Aaron) and came back with a low ball offer of 1000.00. I feel this is a classic bait and switch and a reluctance to bargain in good faith. What options legally and ethically do I have to make sure their offer is honored. My car’s market value has been evaluated per KKB standards and per KBB's Cash Offer program the dealership is required to honor the offer. They have not and will not. More

I had my Durango in the local Dodge dealership here in Penn Yan 4 times for an antifreeze smell. 4 times I left there fr James Chrysler Dodge Jeep. I had my Durango in the local Dodge dealership here in Penn Yan 4 times for an antifreeze smell. 4 times I left there frustrated because it just kept happening and no one could find the problem. Without even looking at the car, Matt knew what was wrong. I took the car there and it is finally fixed! HUGE thank you, because anyone who knows me knows I suffer from migraines due to toxins like antifreeze. Not only was it an inconvenience to bring my car there for the same thing 4 times, but suffering all the while driving it! I was sent a photo of the leaking radiator. More
Didn't get service done here I had an emergency brake down on my 3500 Dodge. Needed it flatbeded to dealer who I normally have service it. They had no place to park it as it could not be driven. Only one lift to fit this vehicle. I have always been happy with service here, we bought the truck when it was Koch. Now I have to find some locally to do the work. I guess I have to rethink the service part of owning this vehicle. I think the facility needs to be updated to help these guys accommodate their customers. More
service department Brought it here for service. I had an appointment on a Wednesday at 1 pm but I had to work so dropped the car off the night before. They didn't even s Brought it here for service. I had an appointment on a Wednesday at 1 pm but I had to work so dropped the car off the night before. They didn't even start fixing my car until Thursday afternoon and it wasn't finished until Friday. Plus when I showed up to get it they told me that the car was still shifting hard (that was the problem I brought it in for). They recommended I change the spark plugs and told me that the service they did to the transmission was not even supposed to be done but they did it anyway and that the fluid was 18 dollars a quart. So I paid 245 dollars for my car not to be fixed. Other dealers and service centers would call and ask if I wanted them to go ahead and still searching and fixing the problem. Not Fingerlakes, they just wait for you to call and ask what's going on. Needless to say I left with my vehicle because I didn't feel comfortable having them service it anymore. Would not recommend their service department. They are slow, not helpful and did a service that did not need to be done in the first place. More
