We test drove it came back, met with Fred to discuss our trade. We're a cup of coffee type of buyer. We were going to look at other vehicles, great, no pressure. We started driving when Fred gave us a call and gave us the best deal possible on the truck and trade in. That easy, never looked at the other vehicles and now I'm driving a great new used vehicle. Smooth as silk! Mike worked with us for the financial end getting us again everything we needed. Nora even filled the truck with gas and checked the tire pressure so that we could get it that much faster. Loved everyone we came in contact with. Even the greeter had a great welcoming smile! An honest car sales experience did catch me a little off guard as earlier on Sunday I intended to purchase a Mazda cx 5 turbo and immediately got the traditional bout of salesman amnesia and shoveling me off to the next guy. They asked if it was ok, and I said no, and walked out. On a lark I decided to return to Jenkins Genesis on Sunday to see if a miracle could be performed locating those keys. My first visit on Saturday was with Jon. Never even sat in a Genesis until that day and he was very willing to show me what I wanted to experience. Couldn’t find the keys to the car I purchased so I needed to return another day. Good kid, just needs to get more serious about his job if he want to be successful. Returned on Sunday. Cole found the keys immediately and the serious buying process began. Very much enjoyed my time with Cole and we got to an agreement very quickly. Had a chance to meet with Chase who approved the deal and we also had a nice conversation before we all left well after posted business hours. Returned Monday afternoon when Mike in Finance was back in the office and the sale was completed. He was also enjoyable to spend time with and he told some ancient family motorcycle stories worth hearing. He also learned about the Peter Principle, and the term decimal dust. One thing that I learned a long time ago, the smartest man in the room makes the dumbest feel smart. You all scored above average on that point and that is rare. Hopefully my service experience is just as wonderful. More
