My Review of Joe Cotton Ford:
The reviews on this page are old and it seems as fords problems increased Joe Cottons service has gotten better.Perhaps the troubles of ford is what was needed to fix the attitude problems many dealerships seem to have. Joe cotton ford has changed for the better.

My Review of Joe Cotton Ford:
I took my car in to have transmission rebuilt, the service writer was rude, hung up on me a couple times and never listened to what i had to say... Did not do everything I asked and that needed to be done... When they replaced the clutch they messed something up it was slipping the day i picked it up... Also they left greasy hand prints all over my white cars' fenders, and got the car back with the driverside rear view broken... 2 days later the transmission blew apart and they wouldnt warranty it... Cost 1700$ and nothing to show for it but a pile of a car.. THANX ALOT JOE COTTON!!!!!

My Review of Joe Cotton Ford:
I have had a few negative experiences at this dealerships service department, but this was a big one, to the tune of about $3000.00.
I have a 2000 Windstar with 35,000 mi (round town miles).
I called the service department because my transmission had died.
I had to have the car towed to the closest shop, which was not a Ford dealer. When they looked at it, they said the transmission was 'chewed' beyond normal wear and tear.
I called to see if Cotton Ford would look at it to determine if it was a defect in parts, they told me 'we don't do that'.
I called 1800241Ford and they told me I had to take it up with a dealership's service department.
Back to the dealership and they still said they couldn't do anything to help me. Get this, the service manager actually said 'Well, you didn't purchase the vehicle at our dealership and we haven't serviced it since Dec 2003'. (there is a reason we didn't have them service it after Dec 2003!) What the heck kind of customer service is that?!?!?!?
After a little research, I have found ALOT of people are having the same trans problem with their Windstars. Hmmmm. . . no wonder no one wanted to help me.
I am getting ready to buy a second car and it WAS going to be a Ford. . . NOT anymore. Once they get the big $$ for a vehicle purchase, I guess they lose value for their customers!
