Dealer tried to scam me into paying dealer and destination fees on a lease buy out. I originally spoke to the sales person and asked him why I’m being charged this again and he said it was normal. destination fees on a lease buy out. After I told the finance person I am not paying the dealer fees and I would get a lawyer involved, he said the dealership no longer wants to go through with the transaction. The whole situation was very sketchy and it was a not until I showed the gentlemen an article stating that there is a law that prohibits these fees type of fees that he decided to waiver the fees. But not because of any law, but as a courtesy he stated. If they are doing this to me, imagine how many other ppl they are charging. Whether he knew about the charges being illegal or not, that’s on the dealership and the type of training they are offering their staff. Very bad experience and I for one will never do business with this dealership again and I will also tell anyone I can to avoid this dealership. I should have sent channel 10 news to the station to report on the disgusting illegal actions this dealership is partaking in. There are many dealerships going through class action lawsuits for this type of behavior from customers who have been wrongfully charged. In addition, the finance manager tried to tell me that Chrysler approves these type of charges and that the GM and owner know about what’s going on. Crazy how systemic this is. Not to mention, the process itself took about 4 hours plus to buy out a lease after being handed over to multiple salesmen. The whole situation was horrible. More

The incompetency, the lack of accountability, the lack of professionalism is so depressing at the Kendal Dodge Services Dept. In fact it’s the worst of I have ever encountered in my life. The catalogue of e professionalism is so depressing at the Kendal Dodge Services Dept. In fact it’s the worst of I have ever encountered in my life. The catalogue of errors is staggering, unbelievable even (genuinely when I list out the errors people laugh). I’m can’t believe Kendal Dodge would employ these people to represent their brand. If this is how much they care, then I can only image the level of care that goes into their vehicles, (and would explain the state of my Dodge). They emptied out my cash account whilst setting up a loan with Sunbit – they could not repay cash without a long process, so was added back to my credit card. I had a complete nightmare managing my direct debits, bills etc (no apology), I’m still struggling to catch up. No one will answer the phone at the Kendal Dodge services department (don’t believe me? Call them). After around 2 weeks of no one answering phones, me driving to them (I live about 15 miles away), over and over to get answers – AC was repaired lasted around 4 hours – failed again. Told to bring the car back, drive to them again – was greeted by an angry incompetent service rep, and told to go home as no one was here to help. I had to drive home with car again. Brought car back again. Another 2 weeks of no one answering phone. Driving to them to get answers (questions like – ‘when will the car be ready’). Finally ‘repaired’, now there is a new thud when I put my foot on the accelerator (this was not there before they ‘repaired’ the AC). But I can not bring myself to take the car there again, ever. The fees are phenomenal $300 to change a lightbulb. $1500 to repair window that fell into door… I have owned the car under a year, I bought from them too… very stressful, what’s next…. There’s more to this story (For example - Staff are happy to sit on their phones/internet and eat whilst you wait. Then brag about what they just saw on tic-toc. Clueless). I don’t want to waste my time or bath in negative energy any longer than I have too – I hope I got my point across. (although eventually I will be leaving individual reviews for the service staff and manager, I had to deal with throughout this ordeal). I will never recommend Dodge, I will never buy Dodge again, I will never have anything to say about this brand/company other than AVOID, AVIOD AVIOD. More
