Arrived for an oil change on the 15th at 0745 hours. After 2 hours of waiting, I asked the espress lane attendant if my truck was ready as I was one of the first vehicles to arrive that morning . His response was " oh, they're waiting for your oil filter to come in". Apparently my vehicle had been sitting for over 2 hours untouched because they did not have a oil filter and were allegedly waiting on one to be delivered from Miami lakes. I immediately told the young man to please return the vehicle to me as is which he responded "are you sure?" By some miracle/magic within 5 minutes the oil filter went from "coming from 30 miles away" to "the technician has the filter in his hand". I then took it upon myself to walk around the building and see the tech working on my vehicle. To which I found my truck the way I left it 2 hours prior, untouched. Finally after another 20 minutes of waiting on the hot sun I finally saw the tech began to service my truck. Long story short, I lost a day of work and 3 and a half hours at the dealer. Once again kendall dodge proves me right on being the ABSOLUTE WORST in customer service and overall customer satisfaction when it comes to the service department. I've purchased over $700,000 of new vehicles from this dealer ranging from chrysler 200c to ram 1500 promoters, ram 2500's ram 3500' s jeep grand cherokee l's, durangos etc... I am on my 14th or 15th vehicle and the experience has always been the same since day one, AWFUL. I believe with this last service, I have learned my lesson and will be taking my business to the Dadeland branch. Its bad enough that I'm spending 70-80k on new vehicles every 2 years but having to wait 3-4 hours for a simple oil change is ridiculous. I even stopped letting them rotate my tires about 3 years ago to maaybee speed up the process. Overall experience is a 3 of 10. And that's only because Paula bean is a sweetheart and its not her fault the tech and some of the other service advisors are extreme incompetent at the jobs. More
