Kendall Toyota Anchorage is by far the most corrupt, unethical and fraudulent dealer we have ever dealt with. I recently purchased a new 2026 sequoia and agreed reluctantly to pay the MSRP value (which unethical and fraudulent dealer we have ever dealt with. I recently purchased a new 2026 sequoia and agreed reluctantly to pay the MSRP value (which was $12,000 more than the same vehicle in Washington out Idaho State). I agreed to this as I was trading in a 4runner that I purchased new at Kendall with very low miles for the low blue book value of 39,444 which Kendall GAVE me in writing prior to driving to Anchorage. The manager knew I had to drive 6 hours to get to the dealer and made me wait an hour while he tried to find a reason to reduce the 39,444 number for my trade in.. and he did So not only did I pay $12,000 more that another Toyota dealer in the lower 48 as he offered me 30,000 since he said the paint needs a little buffing. Ive been ripped off and patronised for the last time at Kendall. I've purchased over 200 Toyotas for my business and personal use. I will not be buying any more toyotas and certainly not dealing with Kendall again. Basically they stole $20,000 from us. These dishonest people had me stuck in the dealership and knew I had no alternative place to purchase this car in a short time period since they are a monopoly. They decided to extort money from me. The 4unner is now for sale for $45,000 on their site and has already an offer on it…. This manager Mojo Giron is a criminal and should be terminated from his position as he has completely alienated me and my family from EVER EVER purchasing or servicing our vehicle at a Kendall Toyota. His demeanor is horrible and is an extremely unethical person. Buyer beware stay away from this Monopoly and purchase your car from Washington or Idaho, this was the worst car buying experience we ever experienced. Kendall really needs to lose this exclusive license in Alaska. More
The past two times my 2016 4-Runner has been in for service I have not been happy. The time before the part was broken, this time I have a rattling that was not there previously. The service department is seriously lacking in customer service skills & skills at diagnosing Toyota issues. Ignition would not completely turn off. The car showed “Low steering power” error message. Unable to lock car. Had it towed right to you all. It took them 6 days to even tow it from their back “yard” into the shop. That the 12V hybrid battery will not charge at all is the ONLY information I have been given by you. YOU ALL SELL & service TOYOTAS!! I have owned 4 Toyotas-2 Rav4’s, 1 Tundra & this Venza. I purchased 2 of those from Kendall Toyota. Never again. When I purchased a previous vehicle from you, your sales team lied to me & said they could not contact my preferred lender USAA. The financing/warranty pusher Phillip Gill was unprofessional. GM Tim Toth-please contact me. Your dealership & service department are a disgrace to Toyota. Please do better for Alaskan Toyota owners. More

I got the car and air pressure sensors only reacts when driving over 50 for ten mins. I didn't drive that till i had to go to Wasilla which set off the light ten min into the drive. One week later after purchase. I took it in, and the tech went around the car twice and went to get another sensor checker. Still no reading which shows all the sensors are dead. Instead of fixing the 160$ fix to make the customer happy they wanted to charge me for their mess up. Thats a small fix for a $20,000 car purchase within two weeks and they should be ashamed not to accommodate this problem. I have worked on cars for 40 years and that would have been an easy fix with the Tech they have. More

Dealership/sales associates have a tendency to remove the fun out of buying a new car. Having to spend countless hours in a dealership, when you already have financing lined up with your bank, is absolutely fun out of buying a new car. Having to spend countless hours in a dealership, when you already have financing lined up with your bank, is absolutely ridiculous and not how anyone wants to spend their time off work. Unfortunately, the experience was no different with Kendall Toyota. That being said, we worked with Tamara Milicev and she was an absolute delight to work with. If you do have to be in a dealership for several hours on your day off, Tamara is as pleasant as can be and will not talk to you like you're an idiot, which I cannot say for her counterpart, Rita. Rita has been in the business for many years and uses all the uncomfortable stereotypical sales language and tactics. If you are visiting this Toyota dealership... Tamara is your lady. She made the experience tolerable and was fun to work with. Rita handled the final sale, so the ratings are in part based on the experience with her, not Tamara. Tamara gets 5 stars for her part in our sale. ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ More
Worst auto buying experience I have ever experienced in over 30 years of buying new vehicles. People are friendly but shady, they will try and railroad you into what’s benefits them the most. I had my own financing and they tried to make me believe that I would get some special deal by taking Toyota credit. This couldn’t have been further than the truth, I will be refinancing ASAP. They also tried lowballing me by $8k on my trade in, KBB had trade in value in current condition at $8500 and they offered me 500. I still took the Toyota home and my trade in vehicle as well. It sucks to go through such a miserable experience for one of the most dependable vehicles on the road today. More
