I live an hour from Kia Country of Savannah, but chose to do my business with Kia Country of Charleston because of the fantastic customer service I got from Melissa there. Our conversations happened mostly via email, while I was shopping for my first new car purchase, and she answered all my questions quickly and thoroughly. Since I was not interested in financing my purchase, things were fairly painless, and after I made my decision (and test drove the model I would be purchasing at the Savannah dealership), I drove to Charleston to meet Melissa and finalize the deal. She had just come back from having foot surgery a few days prior to my visit, and her coworker Derek helped me with my test drive of MY car, and the tour, etc. Derek was very nice, and answered every question I had, and even some I hadn't thought of. Kia Country of Charleston went above and beyond the call of duty to win my business, and I will recommend Derek and Melissa to ANYONE looking to buy a new or used car, simply because they made a normally harrowing experience absolutely delightful for me! I had a great experience at Kia Country. The day I went I was 8 months pregnant and it felt like 110 degrees outside and I had already been to several different dealerships before this one. When I walked in I kinda expected to get the same run around I had gotten at the others but when I walked through the door Derek Arnold asked me what brought me in. I told told him exactly what I wanted and that I was tired and to please just tell me quickly if he could help me because I didn't have the energy to go back and forth. He was awesome. Derek worked hard for me and got me exactly what I was asking for (price). He knew what I was asking was all I could do and he accomplished it without giving me the headache. He was very friendly and made me feel very comfortable. I have recommend Kia Country to others and told them to ask for Derek. He's awesome! More
I had a great experience buying my used Sorento. My only complaint is when I bought it they offered a free detail clean- I came back the next week, waited an hour, and it was NOT cleaned very well. I didn't complaint is when I bought it they offered a free detail clean- I came back the next week, waited an hour, and it was NOT cleaned very well. I didn't check it thoroughly until I got home but there was a noticeable amount of dirt on the floorboards in the backseat. I would suggest making sure it is cleaned well if you are going to offer this to new buyers. Thanks! More
The entire experience was beyond expectations, my wife and i could not of been happier. Derek went way out of his way to help in answering every question that we had, and because of that we drove home our and i could not of been happier. I am a senior, no time to listen to big speals or crap--just tell me like it is. I went to several other dealerships, no one took the time for me, that Derek did--he was my choice as to why I purcha crap--just tell me like it is. Derek treated me like family, felt I knew him all my life, he is honest, to the point, and told me like it was, no hidden fees no surprises. I told him what I could spend, what I wanted, and he worked with me right to the penny. The best little/big car I ever owned--handles fantastic, roomy for all my needs, great gas mileage, I can get in a out of every tight spot there is. More
At Kia Country, JEFF made buying a car fun and easy. Unsolicited, he drove a Sorento to our home (East of the Cooper) to make sure it navigated without difficulty in our garage. The delivery and prep of our car was two days earlier than its due date! Jeff also arranged a reputable auto transport of our old car to a nephew in Michigan. Our Sorento is the most perfect cargo carrying and the most comfortable people mover in its class. And its bells and whistles are quite impressive. We simply can't say enough about JEFF and the folks we met at Kia Country. Don't go anywhere else!! ;) More
Why,,,is simple we did not want to go thru the pressure sales tactics of pounding the pavement looking for our New Car Purchase. We decided we would do the research in the comfort of our home, so we built sales tactics of pounding the pavement looking for our New Car Purchase. We decided we would do the research in the comfort of our home, so we built the car Jan wanted after careful research and competed it on internet, We have always been Ford customers (with our past 5 ne vehichle purchases being a Ford), but we could not get a Ford dealership to give us a firm offer online so we could then start the process of negotiating. They all called/e.mailed us but ultimately we had to come to the dealership to negotiate the deal. We became frustrated and decided to do more research on similar sedans but different manufacters. This is when we came upon the ratings of the Kia Optima..It was everything Jan wanted and much more reasonable...We stopped by the Kia Country Dealership one rainy afternoon and tested the Optima. We met Daniel during this visit. He was very professional and answered all of our questions with zero Pressure tactics to handcuff us to the desk until we purchased a vehichle. We finally made a prposed Internet offer with your Internet salesperson Monet. Monet and Daniel got back to us with a counter offer and we countered that. Long story short we made a deal on the telephone and purchased Jan's new Optima. Finally when we went to pick-up the car we met Sam and your financial officer (who I do not remember his name) to finalize the deal. We had the same experience with them and are very happy with the car. To summarize the experience (we told your financial officer this at closing) We love the car but your Sales Team is what Sold us on Kia... Thank You Jim and Jan More
