Stranded on the side of the road with my husband and three kids, I was overwhelmed and emotional. We called six different repair shops, and every one of them told us they couldn’t see us for at least a week. Desperate, I found Kia Leesburg online and quickly scheduled an appointment. We arranged a tow through our insurance and took an Uber straight to the dealership. From the moment we arrived, Alan Woodyard in the service department made all the difference. Alan greeted us with genuine empathy and reassured us that we were not in this alone. He offered us snacks and drinks from the waiting area and even had books available to keep our kids occupied. Then he took it a step further—he arranged a shuttle to take us to a nearby mall so our children could eat and enjoy a movie, turning a stressful day into a more manageable one. Throughout the day, Alan kept in contact with us, providing timely updates and checking to make sure we were okay. He worked tirelessly to locate the parts needed and made sure his team got our car repaired that same day so we could safely continue our journey. We were at the dealership the entire day, but not once did we feel like just another transaction. Thanks to Alan and the incredible team at Kia Leesburg, we felt like family. My car was held for 4 days, and not all repairs Inc the service recall were finished as pre scheduled. I was called on day of pick up and told the car was completed, Inc recall. When I arrived I was told it was actually not complete and i could ‘simply take the car to another dealership’. I live an hour away. I was not in a rush to collect the vehicle and I told them that. Makes no sense. It also took 6 hours on day of drop off to be provided a rental car. Poor communication and customer service standards. The sales team had also promised us a level 2 charger on purchase, we received a level 1. We only realised this when we used the charger as there were no identifiable names/numbers on the charger. Very disappointed. More
On July 7th, 2025 I purchased a 2025 Kia Sorento from Leesburg Kia on 441. I turned in a 2023 Hyundai to Kia and removed the plate and transferred the vehicle insurance that day. On July 25 the salesman called and advised I had to sign a release form at the dealership. On July 26 I drove to the dealership to sign the form. They then advised me I had to drive the unlicensed and uninsured vehicle to the Hyundai dealership to sign the paper there. I advised them the car was no longer my responsibility and would sign the paper at their location. They then produced a typed letter from the manager saying I refused to cooperate in the process. I feel that Hyundai/Kai should be able to handle this matter internally. they accepted my leased vehicle and advised they would handle it. My lease was with Hyundai/Kai not any specific dealership.
