My experience with Nick Warren and Kian Motors was extremely disappointing and stressful from start to finish. During the financing process, our credit was run on a completely different vehicle without our authorization, resulting in unnecessary hard inquiries and even a denial letter from Ally Bank for a Kia Telluride we never intended to purchase. We were assured everything was moving forward, put $3,000 down, signed paperwork, and took possession of the vehicle, only to later be told the financing was never finalized and the deal was “contingent.” Important income information was allegedly not submitted during the approval process, despite us providing additional documentation multiple times, including trustee paperwork and pay stubs. Communication became inconsistent and frustrating. We repeatedly had to chase answers, resend documents, and were ultimately told the vehicle needed to be returned after we had already rearranged our lives around this purchase. My husband lost work time during this process, we incurred travel expenses, and our family was left without reliable transportation. What bothered me most was the lack of transparency throughout the transaction. Consumers deserve clear communication BEFORE signing contracts and taking vehicles home, not after the fact when everything starts unraveling. I strongly encourage anyone shopping here to read every document carefully, ask whether financing is fully funded or still contingent, and get everything in writing before leaving the dealership. We were looking at buying a Tesla model X from this dealership and after numerous exchanges via text interviewing documents online, we arranged a test drive. After completing the test drive we sat down to discuss the purchase with Layne where in he failed to disclose numerous issues with a car, including that it had a branded title. From there, he utilize shady tactics, including lying outright about neighboring values of the Karr market and the appraisal value of our trade-in, which was 20,000 under KBB and other dealership trade-in values. While in the office, it became a parent that this was a common tactic that they were trying to sell branded title vehicles, as if they had clean titles with no damage history. Highly recommend that you stay far away from this organization, especially this representative. More

He was not pushy but wanted to make sure that I got the right car for the right price. The process of buying my car, having it shipped from Texas to Florida, and finalizing the paperwork and payment was very smooth. all because of Layne Elrod. I have seven daughters and when it comes time for their purchase, they will be calling Layne Elrod at Kian Motors first. All the way a pleasurable and stress free experience. More

I contacted Nick on a Friday night about an F150 that I really liked. Not even 12 hours later, I was leaving the parking lot with it! UPDATED REVIEW: 12/26/23 Nothing but issues with this car that were never told to me. STAY FAR AWAY FROM KIAN MOTORS. I bought a car from here that was listed at a fair price. There were no hidden dea car that were never told to me. STAY FAR AWAY FROM KIAN MOTORS. I bought a car from here that was listed at a fair price. There were no hidden dealership fees and the process was simple. The car was bought and the next day delivered to my door. However, I found out after the paperwork had been completed that Kian Motors had not completed an emissions inspection on the vehicle, which is required by law 180 days prior to the sale of the vehicle. While an emissions inspection is not a huge deal, it showed me that corners may have been cut by the dealership. I hopped in the vehicle I bought and immediately knew that the brakes were not working properly. There was a nail in one of the tires and the car was dropped off with less than half a tank of gas. I called up the dealership and spoke to Nick, who told me to bring it in so that it could be fixed. After bringing it in, they had to fix the brakes, sway link bar and the tire. While I am grateful to Nick for having the car fixed, I am bothered that they would even sell me a car in that condition. Furthermore, I was given a loaner car to take home while my car was being fixed. I saw that the temporary permit that was out on the loaner by Nick was a Buyers Permit and not an Authorized Agent Tag, which is illegal. Had I been pulled over I would have been subject to a ticket for Unauthorized Use of a Temporary Permit. Just another red flag about Kian Motors. Not trying to hurt a family run business but maybe Texas DPS should be looking I for this place. More
