Allow him to train a team on customer service advising. As great as the experience was with my service advisor, I also recognize this level of success can only be achieved with the support of an exceptional service team. The work completed on my truck was significant. Having done a transmission rebuild on a classic car in the past, I understood the amount of work the service may require. I was occasionally updated throughout the process, and contact with David had the appropriate level of technical description to understand exactly where we had been and where we were going next. Therefore, David and I didn’t have to have but a few conversations throughout the process. It is crystal clear that the service technician was outstanding. It’s hard for mechanics to receive accolades in today’s impatient society. However, it’s most important to give credit when it’s earned. My service technician did an outstanding job. Drivability and smoothness in shifting of my transmission is the same as when I drove it new off the lot. As my service technician provided updates, I knew exactly what was happening. Having a little background of my own, I had an idea why the steps were being taken the way they were. My service technician was HONEST, logical, clearly experienced in this task, and successful in fixing the problem. To me, honesty and ability to successfully repair an automobile are the best accolades I could give any service technician. Great job, I appreciate you. Finally, I want to address what can only be accomplished by a competent and efficiently operating team at Ford. My transmission ended up requiring work in the CDF drum. This basically implies pulling the transmission, overhauling some critical internal parts, reinstallation, and test. Kudos to management at Koons of Annapolis for having a respectable, honest, and efficient team. Kudos to Ford for providing them the environment to do so AND the logistical infrastructure and manufacture that enables service shops like Koons of Annapolis the ability to request specialty parts and receive them within three business days. The work on my truck was completed in two weeks! That’s amazing. Thank you. I’m a Ford guy now and always. More
