I had been retired less than a month when I got to know my very kind and professional salesman Vinny and Finance Manager Calvin ( the Sales Manager Mike was great as well). I had been driving multiple company SUVs an average of 3500 miles per month over the past 9 years, and though I was pretty sure that I wanted to buy an SUV, it was like starting over with the stress of researching all the different makers and models and financing options. Vinny was the first person at LaFontaine Honda to approach me with a smile and hand extended. He was not high pressure, but with a calm, genuinely off-script demeanor showed me that he wanted a mutually successful family-like experience. I had talked with several relatives that have leased SUVs for years, and with Vinny’s guidance, facts and figures of used vs new, and leasing new, Vinny presented me with a Family Deal to lease my dream SUV, a 2026 Honda CR V Hybrid TrailSport. The SUV had 5 miles, a light urban gray body with all- terrain tires, sunroof and all the bells and whistles at a great lease monthly payment and residual value. Finally, I had the pleasure to work with the charismatic, kind, most personable Finance Manager Calvin . He knew my budget and helped me stay within it, but knowing the roads in Michigan he gently encouraged me to follow Vinny’s advice and he gave me a great deal on the Wheel and Tires Hazard Warranty for the length of the lease at a great price! In closing, the next day after the deal, I researched my deal with the help of AI. AI said that I received an excellent deal. I had done a lot of research on the 2025 Honda CRV Sport Hybrid Touring and was set to make a decision between this and the Mazda CX-50 (it was a bit too small for me). After visiting Lafontaine Mazda, I l Hybrid Touring and was set to make a decision between this and the Mazda CX-50 (it was a bit too small for me). After visiting Lafontaine Mazda, I learned that Vinny Jonna who was helping me at Mazda was able to assist me with Honda as well. As I had such a great experience at Mazda, I decided to keep my business with the LaFontaine group. I will say that towards the end there was a bit of pressure to invest in the extended plans. I know it is a salesperson's job to upsell the plans, so I was expecting that. I had a firm number that I wanted to use as a down payment and what I wanted my car payment to be. Vinny was able to work within my parameters to get the payment I wanted as well as the Extended Warranty. All in all I had a very good experience with both LaFontaine dealerships and would recommend Vinny Jonna to assist you in any of the brands in the LaFontaine group.
