The entire Service Dept at Landers is a JOKE! Don't waste your time. I have bought 4 vehicles and used their service exclusively since 2002. I vowed to never come back after my last experience wi Don't waste your time. I have bought 4 vehicles and used their service exclusively since 2002. I vowed to never come back after my last experience with their Quick Lane Service Dept. But I had an evap purge valve go out on my vehicle. Since I had vowed never to go back to Landers, I had Gateway change the oil and try to do the repair. The cost to replace it was $250.00. They haven't been able to get the part. So, because I am leaving to go on vacation soon, I was told by them to go to Landers since that is where I bought the vehicle and maybe they could help me faster. I did. Landers first told me that I would have to drop my car off and leave it on Tuesday, but they wouldn't get the part until Friday, but they had to hold my car for those days in their shop until they got the part and fixed it on Friday. MADE ABSOLUTELY NO SENSE. Then he asked me if I bought my car from them. I said yes, I did. He places me on hold and then, by some miracle, they now have the part and can get it fixed today for $475.00. $200 difference in repair costs for the same exact thing! They are a joke and I hope someone sees this that might care about this dealership. It is so sad. It used to be a good place to go for service. Now, the people they have there in the Service Department really don't care about their customers or where they work and it shows! I will never purchase a vehicle here again. Nor will I come back for service, UNLESS THEY HOLD ME HOSTAGE TO A PART, LIKE THEY DID THIS TIME. More
