I went to five dealers in PA and NJ and decided to go with this dealer. They were wonderful to work with and I immediately started telling people about my experience. All the staff there are exceptionally sincere, down-to earth, personable, friendly, professional, and patient. The sales staff exceeded our expectations. My wife and I met with Ron Garguilo and Sal Cuomo. Ron is a Sales Manager and Sal is a Sales and Leasing Culsultant at Lester Glenn Hyundai. My wife and I came prepared for the Hyundai Models we were considering. Both Ron and Sal very patiently spent an exceptional amount of time with us with exploring our options. We test drove two of the models we were considering. Ron and Sal were very respectful in matching our finances and preferred Hyundai Models to offer us not only the best possible options for the models with which we were interested, but purchasing options that exceeded our expectations. In the end, my wife and I walked out of Lester Glenn Hyundai with an extraordinary deal on the model we thought we had less of a chance of obtaining. Today i bought a 2011 Hyundai Sonata from Edward Santiago. I have never met someone who goes the extra mile to finding the right car and getting a great price. The customer service from Ed was absolutely exceptional and if I had to rate him on a scale of 1-10 it would by far be a 10. He was very informative, extremely friendly and upbeat and great at listening what i wanted out of getting a hyundai. The overall experience that i had at Lester Glenn Hyundai of Toms River was great and would recommend them and Ed to anyone who is looking to buy a new car. More
We started looking for a new car about a month before we purchased the 2011 sonata, al kept in touch with us the whole time and was always curteous and never pushy about buying any certain car. This was the easiest purchase I have ever made! That includes introductions, the test drive, pricing, credit check, insurance changing, financial paper signing and everything else. It was a great experience and Al was very helpful and honest. We tried dealing with a different Hyundai dealer, and the experience did not compare to the Toms River location. This last experience was especially positive! We wouldn't recommend any other dealer but Lester Glenn! More
Went to dealership on 12/31/2010 to take advantage of year end sale. Pete(salesman) could not have been nicer but the price they (Mgmt.) gave me was sticker price on 2011 Sonata Limited - Who pays stick year end sale. Pete(salesman) could not have been nicer but the price they (Mgmt.) gave me was sticker price on 2011 Sonata Limited - Who pays sticker price these days..This is not 1985...The Internet is a great source of information for new buyers out there, especially what price you should pay for a new vehicle with your desired equipment..Edmund's.Com - Yahoo Autos - Cars.Com..all good sites. Granted they wanted to give me $12,000 (trade + all current Hyundai promotions) for a trade in Honda Accord - Agreed this was far more than other dealers...I will give them that any day However, I told them I had been in touch with their Internet dept. and other dealerships and had brought with me documented quotes from those dealerships (Hackettstown and Wayne Hyundai in NJ) on the same vehicle - 2011 Sonata Limited. Internet Dept. told me to "bring everything you have" and they would match it as well as beat it - "They are offering great deals for the Year End sale" I was told. After driving the car and being quite surprised (vehicle was nicer than I expected I would say. Hyundai has come a long way..fit/finish was nice..drove well..a bit too much plastic for me but you could live with it by all means)..I agreed to sit down and price it out expecting to be offered the same if not better deal than the other dealerships - I was ready to buy if the price was right (comparable and fair that is) - I was going to be a new Hyundai owner - who would have thought!!! What a joke - here is where it goes bad - The purchase price of $28,130 was given to me on a sticker that was $26,345 - then they added on leather protection and pinstripes which I was told that "You are not really paying for it - that is the addendum price to the window sticker". So after all was said and done, I was paying sticker - $28,130. I told Pete that $299/month @ 2.9% Financing was far more than other dealerships offered to me (one dealership offered 0.0% in writing... no gimmicks here) and the other car I was looking at was a Toyota Camry - I agreed to stop at Hyundai first though. After returning from visiting the "Management" a second time, Pete did not even come back with a counteroffer and basically said there was nothing they could do based on the info I had provided to them from the other dealerships - Not even a counteroffer - Are you kidding me!!!! yeah what a great deal!! - Seems to me they were really not interested in making a deal at all - just waiting for another uneducated buyer to walk in and scam. What a crock of garbage! Do yourself a favor folks, be educated before walking in this place..A trade-in and a new purchase are always two separate transactions - treat them as such in your dealings..both need to be acceptable...giving more $$$ on a trade to only have the customer pay sticker is not acceptable to me nor should it be acceptable to you as a future customer of this dealership. Be smart and do your homework folks! Perhaps you will have a different experience than me - Hope you do! FYI - Left dealership without a Hyundai Sonata - sad because vehicle could have been sold had the price been fair - not a steal for me but a fair price for dealership and me.. They were selling cars so I guess losing one buyer was not an issue. FYI Part II..Pete was a regular guy who seemed to be put into a bad situation by Management - Lauren from Interent sales seems to have been snowed by Mgmt making decisions on sales. Meant well but totally undermined by people making sales decisions. Terrible, just a terrible approach to a potentially new Hyundai owner. Oh well, better dealings in the future.. More
Although there was an honest mistake in the initial quote for a 2011 Hyundai Sonata SE from the Lester Glenn salesman, the mistake was turned into an outstanding price for the car! It became obvious that the dealer WANTED my business without haunting me on the phone or at home! The finance person, Sherif, went over every figure at the conclusion of the sale of the SE like he was speaking to his mother= great job! He also PROVED to me that I got an outstanding deal which makes the customer (a) happy when they leave the showroom and (b) want to refer others to Lester Glenn Hyundai in Toms River, NJ. He was aware from the beginning we were not going to buy today since I had just started looking, but was still pleasant and helpful.We also spoke with a manager who offered us a 'great deal' but did not pressure us. It was a great experience.If I decide to buy a tucson I would go back to Will. More

I visited many dealers in the area in search of a reliable, pre-owned car within my monthly budget limit. I came back to Mr. Murry because he was very friendly and direct, not at all pushy, and imme reliable, pre-owned car within my monthly budget limit. In the end, I came away with a virtually new car, still under warranty, for within the limit we had set. I purchased the extended warranty and drove away with confidence that I will be able to drive for the next eight years with no worries. The buying experience was without stress, and Mr. Murray was great, as was Michael, the young man who completed the financial portion of the transaction. I hear from friends that the service from Lester Glenn is excellent as well, and look forward to a positive relationship with the dealership in the future. More
