We had a very interesting time with this dealership in Peoria culminating in driving away in the wrong car. We were 10 miles from home in “our car” when we got the call. They had given us the wrong car- c Peoria culminating in driving away in the wrong car. We were 10 miles from home in “our car” when we got the call. They had given us the wrong car- correct color- just wrong car. We also were told we didn’t need front plates on the car. That People who drove a Lexus in Chicago rarely had front plates. IN ILLINOIS ITS THE LAW. so wrong car no front plates and poor service. Originally we wanted the copper tone car but the dealership couldn’t secure it. We settled for Caviar color. The dealership in Omaha was thrilled to speak with us and had the color but Omaha was a long drive. Our appointment was for 9:00 but the paperwork was not ready for us even though we did not need financing. We haven’t heard from management, But someone is driving a new car with 100 unexplainable miles on it. And we were assured by the Sheriff’s department that a car registered in Illinois does need plates on front and back. Corporate customer service has been very attentive. It’s been a good story to tell as this is the event season here. I usually skip these customer ratings but both the IT and salesperson wanted us to fill this out. More
