I have been a Lexus customer (Thompson) for over 20 years and have been very satisfied with the product and the service. I was looking to upgrade my ES300 and the Rx400h was my primary choice. I met with Doug Horst that day and he spent a lot of time explaining every aspect of the RX to me. Doug was a true professional and gave me the feeling that ‘the customer does come first’. I can honestly say that I have NEVER had such a great experience in purchasing a car.

I met with other members of your Lexus organization during the purchase process and their consistency in quality of service was outstanding. I would be amiss if I didn’t mention Drew, Ryan, Kevin and Pernell.

I purchased a "Certified", 2010 RX 350 from Lexus of Wilmington, working directly with Carolyn Cohen and Kevin Glenn working in the Used/Certified section of the dealership. Below is an email I forwarded the day we picked up the car after "ALL" of the items we had discussed were directly addressed by various areas within the dealership. Overall a very positive experience starting with the sales process through delivery. Below is the text:

Koons Lexus went out of their way to ensure a pleasant buying experience. A pre-owned Lexus was purchased out-of-state, and they handled everything beautifully--securing financing, handling the paperwork, even facilitating the purchase of tags & title for the vehicle. They demonstrated a high level of customer service throughout the process and treated me as a loyal customer from the beginning. Would definitely buy from again.

Carolyn was fresh and honest which are qualities that my wife and I found unique & refreshing. She was patient in showing us all the new technology & options. We felt no pressure to purchase and although it was later in the evening she was in no hurry to get out of work.

The team at Koons Lexus of Wilmington did an outstanding job assisting us with the purchase of our new car. Our primary salesman, Robert Nestor, took the time and care to determine our specific needs, discuss options and accessories and locate the right vehicle to meet our requirements. The entire sales team was helpful, knowledgeable and professional, and gave us the feeling that, more than anything, they wanted us to be happy with our final decision. Technology is a major feature of any new automobile. Ryan Troxell, IT Specialists, provided great training and instruction regarding the features of our vehicle. He took the time, on two separate occasions, to explain the operation of the on board systems and assure that we could safely and easily use the technology to best meet our personal wants and needs. Customer care and service is obviously an important part of the culture at Koons Lexus of Wilmington. Last evening we attended a seminar at the dealership for customers who recently purchased new vehicles. They acquainted us with the service staff and provided additional information about the dealership and its many services and customer support activities. The session was held in the customer service area, which is designed to provide a convenient and positive overall experience. Equipped with WIFI and Desktop Computers, for customer use, it allows for a productive and comfortable experience while having vehicles serviced. KUDOS to the entire team. Was greeted immediately when I pulled into the service department. Very clean and pleasant facility with courteous personel. My sales person asked relevant questions and was able to provide me with service options that were within my budget while addressing the issues I was having with my vehicle. I was provided with beverages, snacks, and a comforable area to access wi fi and make phone calls while I waited a short period of time for the results of my vehicle's overview. They provided me with a loaner car for one day until my vehicle was completed. Overall experience was excellent!!!!!!

I was very pleased with my recent interaction with Koons of Wilmington.

When I recently had my previous Lexus serviced at Koons I interacted with Themis Galanos, the Service and Parts Director. I was very impressed with his professionalism and his his responsiveness to my concerns. In fact, it was that interaction, together with the impressiveness of the 2013 loaner that I used during that time that made me think about getting a newer Lexus.

I then worked with John Skehan and Kevin Glenn to see and learn about the pre-owned LS460s that you had in stock. I was pleased with their knowledge, their ready availability, and their understanding of my needs and budget. They helped me to understand which options would be best suited for me, and guided me through the mechanics of my trade-in.

By the time I got to Andrew Greene it was apparent what a wonderful and efficient team you have, and how well you all work together.

I bought from John Skehan and will buy from him again. John is a rare breed of salesperson - he asked the right questions, listened intently to what I had to say and made RELEVANT recommendations and suggestions leading, ultimately, to the right car for me. I felt he worked hard to find the right car, find me agressive financing (I got a great rate through his connections that beat two other banks by 300 basis points and 620 basis points), and sincerely wanted me to leave completely satisfied with my purchase. I felt no pressure and was never rushed at any point during the entire time I was at the dealership. I have been in sales for 14 years and am very sensitive to customer service and "the sell". Buying from John was one of the best purchasing experiences I have had. So, do yourself a favor, if you are looking for a Lexus, go to Koons, if you go to Koons, then find John. I think he is honest, polite, professional, respectful, has a wealth of knowledge about his product, and most important to us buyers - an advocate of customer service. We purchased our first Lexus in August. A few months later we went back for our 2nd Lexus in October. My husband and I had such a great experience both times that we still, to this day, rave about Koons of Lexus to all our friends and family. This is the 2nd time we've dealt with Kevin Glenn, and he has been such a pleasure to work with. He is a friendly and very down to earth. Our salesman, Rob Nestor was just as helpful as Kevin to work with. We cannot say enough positive thing about our experience at Koons Of Lexus!
