Had a 10:15 am appointment for an oil change. They took my car in right away. It was mentioned that I was due for a suggested 30,000 mile maintenance procedure. Usually have had a good experience here with service. But yesterday I had them install an OEM trailer brake controller they had ordered for me. They said it would take 1 hour. They text me to say it was done 40 minutes from appointment time. GREAT! Simple install, pop out a coin tray, plug in the wiring harness and insert in place of the coin tray. Connect with the computer to let it know the controller is installed. When looking at the itemized invoice, Charge of $17.70 for hazardous waste disposal! $9.54 for shop supplies. There was no waste, let alone hazardous! What shop supplies? Didn't even get paper floor mats. FRAUD!!!! When I questioned this checking out the lady said the charge was "auto generated", and she couldn't remove it. What about a credit? Duh Charged me nearly $30 for service/charges not received FRAUD FRAUD $159 labor charge for the above 40 minutes of service. You would think family with 3 Ford vehicles getting service would be treated fairly. Anyone know a Ford dealer near Terre Haute that would appreciate getting 3 new customers vehicles to service? More
