After 12 plus years I’m done magic city service sucks and communication sucks PERIOD they don’t answer the phone they have left me hanging the last 2 visits with no vehicle no courtesy call I have spent seve communication sucks PERIOD they don’t answer the phone they have left me hanging the last 2 visits with no vehicle no courtesy call I have spent several thousand dollars on this vehicle with them I’m tired of being screwed over at my expense I pay top dollar for a piece of mind I no longer trust MCF to service my vehicle they knowingly made appointments knowing they could not honor these in a timely matter never ever will I do business with this dealership they only want your money and you’ll get your vehicle when you get it More
Had an urgent situation with my truck. Called Magic City Ford at 8:40am to make an appointment. Service dept did not answer. The receptionist said she would have them call me back. Called again around 9:20, no answer at the service dept, Receptionist said she had no idea why they’re not answering but she would have them call me back. Over 5 hours later from my 1st call, I called back and talked to Cindy who apologized and said they were short handed. I explained to her that I had already called 1st Team Ford in Christiansburg and they answered right away, and set me up to have my truck looked at the next day. They said there have been several folks that did the same thing because of bad customer service at Magic City Ford. Another friend said they went to Lynchburg because of bad customer service at Magic City Ford in Roanoke. More
First to make an appointment to get my sticker, I was transferred to a rep in China. I was surprised, because before when I called, I was connected to the Service Dept in Roanoke. I had to wait a couple of weeks for an appointment to get a sticker. Finally, the day came and I told the service dept I would wait on my sticker, thinking it would only take 30 minutes or less. I sit in the waiting area for 3 hours, then could not take it any longer. I asked when my car would be ready. I was told it would be another 2 hours. I be dammed, if I will donate an entire day to get a sticker for a new vehicle that had nothing wrong with it. I am so disappointed in Magic City. I have never experienced anything like this from them. They won't waste my time ever again. I left after 3 hours and took it to another shop and was in and out within 15 minutes. More
Service department is horrible. Would never recommend buying a vehicle from there and never take it to be serviced. They hand you a spoon full of lies and garbage and you you swollow it!!!!!! This was the worst customer service experience I believe I have had at any car dealership and possibly business in general. I walked in first thing this morning to be told they had no available slots for service without an appointment. First of all that is disappointing and a hint to a possible flaw in their business model. Secondly I was told they would not have an appointment for the rest of the week. This level of attitude and service is unacceptable and as someone who has acquired 4 vehicles which were bought at Magic City Ford and serviced there since their purchase, they will never have to worry about being burdened with serving or selling to me or my ford family ever again. But I’ll still help them even though they refused to return the favor. To keep from receiving this kind of critical review, leverage your Human Resources skills to attract, hire and retain service talent (if this is the reason for your inability to provide service), put your customer facing team members through a course on etiquette and soft skills to improve their delivery of potentially disappointing news and lastly put up signs that clearly state by appointment only so as to be clear of your business model. To anyone wishing to purchase or get service here be warned service after the sale is nonexistent and as a result the four vehicles purchased and serviced here will be the last. More

2017 F150 3.5L Problems and they wont FIX IT! I purchased a brand new 2017 F150 from Magic City in November 2017. About 3 months later it started making a horrible noise from the engine, so i fina I purchased a brand new 2017 F150 from Magic City in November 2017. About 3 months later it started making a horrible noise from the engine, so i finally made an appt to drop it off for repairs because it was covered under warranty. When i went to pick it up, they said all it needed was an oil change, but the week prior to that they said they were going to replace the cam phasers. So instead of fixing my truck like originally planned, they charged me $41 for an oil change that i never asked them to do. In addition, they put in the notes that my truck was a quart low on oil but never mentioned this to me in conversation! I'm having major issues with my brand new $53k truck that I've had for less than 10 months and they dont want to fix it??? Its covered under warranty!!! So I posted a bad review on the Magic City Facebook Page on 10/11 and immediately got a call from the Service Manager, Jay. He seemed seemed genuinely concerned about my problem and said he would get to the bottom of this and call me back with a resolution. It is now 10/16 and still no response / call back from Jay. Buyer BEWARE!!!!!!!!!!!! More
Caring, fantastic service!! Friday afternoon around 3 p.m. we brought our church van to Magic City Ford after traveling several hours to get to a Woman's Conference. We did not hold much hope in getting our van fixed that late in the day on a Friday afternoon, but Billie Jo O'Connor got on the phone with the service guys and they got the van in right away. These people Matt, Keven, Jeff, Brad and Jessie bent over backwards to get our van back on the road. One of the men gave us an angel he had made to put in our van to watch over us. It started raining and they found us umbrellas to use and keep!! I have never experienced such service, caring and devoted people! Billie Jo you were wonderful!! Thank you so much from the bottom of my heart!! More
