I travel from North Jersey (nearly 2 hours) to specifically go to Manahawkin KIA. I have tried other dealers in my area, but the level of care, service, communication, organization, and efficienc specifically go to Manahawkin KIA. Always enjoy going to Manahawkin kia it's like you're apart of the family. I call for an appointment and I can get almost any time I need to bring it in. I was given an estimate to replace a battery, approximately $ 179.95 plus tax. I verified this upon arrival. The estimate was "in writing." Upon completion, I received a bill for $ 318.00. A len approximately $ 179.95 plus tax. I verified this upon arrival. The estimate was "in writing." Upon completion, I received a bill for $ 318.00. A lengthy discussion followed. "Tom" told me I was "given the quote for the wrong size battery." I told him call the cops, I'm not paying, or words to that effect. He said he "made a phone call" and "the best he could do is give me the battery "at about cost" bringing it to $ 214.24 which is $ 40 higher than the $ 179 minus $ 15 coupon plus tax at approx $ 174.87. At no time did ANYONE come out and tell me the estimate was for the wrong battery size, or so I was told. A review of this site shows the employee"s name in at least 2 other complaints. I had my vehicle service there in the past. I won't be back. I will be escalating this. More
