My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
I just purchased my Nissan Rouge from Mark. What a great experience! It was such a pleasure to deal with someone as professional as him. Never did I feel pressured as I did at other dealerships..he took his time to go through every option..pointed out the reasons why or why not I might want some and not others..Really went way above and beyond. I will highly recommend him to everyone I know..Excellent service! Great salesperson!

My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
After visiting several Nissan dealerships I bought my '07 Sentra at Marlborough Nissan from Jim. He was very friendly and easy to work with. There was no pressure to buy whatsoever. Also when I had a problem with the title from my trade-in he was able to get me my plates and registration in a much shorter time frame. I think the price that I paid for the car was average - not overcharged but certainly not a "steal" either. Overall I drove away feeling very good about my experience.

My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
Great Service... Dan was very nice and new what he was talking about.
Loved him.
Everyone was very kind. They offered all we needed.
I was very pleased with the final price that was given to me. They really worked hard to make a good experience and for me to get what I wanted.

My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
I have been to a few dealers in my life but this has got to be the only place that I know that all combine with positive attitudes and team work.
I know that I have not gotten into the service part yet, but if the service department is half as good as sales department this dealer will bloom out.
If I had to rate this dealer and how they treat you, It would all be positive, so if I had to score it from 1-10 then it would be an eleven.

Good Job Guys
Maria/Walter

My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
Brought my mother in for a car. She wanted to trade in her gas guzzling van for a more fuels efficient car and get a certain payment. Tim showed us our options and later that day we drove a brand new Nissan off the lot. They made sure we had all our questions answered and made sure we made the right decision for what we wanted. The car runs great, looks great and has saved us hundreds of dollars in gas. Tim Martell provided us with superior service in our hunt for a new car! Super, super, super-duper, awesome, awesome, awesome!

My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
Hi vehicle searchers!

I looked for a Nissan Pathfinder on the east coast and sent in a request from abroad on the internet for quotes from authorized Nissan dealers. I must have been considered a very risky business partner (something I am not used to as an M.D.) as most dealers hardly respected me enough for a reply or gave me some $15G higher prices than the one I got from Marlboro Nissan!

At Marlboro Nissan I met Jim McCall and Todd Weinberg who were very friendly and assisted me with every detailed question I had (I am NOT easy...). I am a very satisfied customer and will definitely be in touch with them again when I will be searching for my next vehicle!

Wish you luck with your vehicle search!

My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
Since I've purchased 2 cars from Marlboro Nissan, I just felt that they should get 2 A+'s since both experiences were terrific! I just can't wait until my lease is up in May next year so I can get a new one! Since I have been doing business with them I have sent my sister and 2 friends in who all have bought cars and it was more of the same. It really is just so easy to buy a car there. Ok so I guess I have to write about each thing I am grading so Customer Service is a wonderful. They actually ask me what I want! I've gone to other dealers saying I would like to see this or that and instead of showing me what I want they try to get me to buy something else! Not at Marlboro Nissan! I always tell them what car I want and how much I can afford and they always find a way to make it work. Quality of work: Well its a Nissan what more do you need to say? Friendliness: Ok thats an easy one. They might not want me to say this, but when I bought my first car I came with my friend and she and I both went to the Chinese restaurant across the street when we were done. Well a little later Dan, the Manager, and Todd, my salesperson came in after the dealership closed and we talked to them and they ended up buying our dinner and drinks! We already bought the car so they did not have to do that! So after all that I guess you could say my overall experience was terrific! Since they always help me get the car I want for what I can afford I would say the prices are awesome! Ok guess thats about it. I will be sure to write something in May when I buy my next car! My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
I had a bad experience at Marlboro Nissan as well. The salesperson I delt with promised they would honor a lower advertising price in a magazine and when I got there they told me they would not honor that price, they were lying to me before I even walked into the store! They told me they could only honor the price if I was trading in a car. Thanks for the fine print (there was no fine print on this ad). The actual sticker price was pretty rediculous compared to other cars of the same model and they refused to negotiate. I might as well have gone and bought a brand new 2008 car for the price they were asking! The sales person showed no knowledge of the car he was selling. Every question I asked relating to the car he immediately looked at the window sticker for an answer, even when the info wasn't on there. Alot of what this sales person said seemed pretty questionable, watch out for the typical "oh we were just about to send this car to auction when we got your phone call/email." "I've done my research and this is the best price out there!" "This was the price the dealer paid so we can't sell it to you for that even though our advertisement says thats the price we're selling it for." Yeah, right. For a family owned business they didn't seem to care much for the client, only about compensation.

Hi John,

My name is Timothy Martell, Director of eCommerce at Marlboro Nissan. I am sorry for the experience you had here! Unfortunately the advertiser neglected to put the fine print in the ad on the Mustang you were looking at. I understand we did provide you with the retraction letter they provided us for this error and we no longer use this company for our advertising. While this doesn't change what happened to you we do make every effort to prevent this type of problem from occurring. Again, my sincerest apology for this experience. I did some checking and we did still offer the car to you at $18,995 (the $3,000 down plus the advertised price in the magazine of $15,995) which is the same price we had it on the web for on all our various online advertising sources. Also, when I searched AutoTrader and other online venues I could not find a lower price anywhere for this vehicle with the same equipment and miles. In fact, the lowest price I could find was $2,000 more than the price we advertised and ultimately sold the vehicle for.
I want you to know that I make customer experience my top priority and I was wondering if there is anything I can do to make this up to you. You can reach me anytime at mraccountable@marlboronissan.com

John,

I was wondering, if it isn't too much trouble, would you be willing to call me so we can discus this together. I would really like to find out your side of what happened. You can reach me anytime on my cell (508) 561-1945. I get horrible reception at home, but I return all my voicemails within 1 hour.

Timothy- I appreciate your time to review my my experience. I understood in the first place that you had a higher advertised price on the websites which is the first thing I noticed and brought up to the sales representative. He responded in an email I have saved saying:
"As for the price, it would be for the ad in the newspaper. The lower price!! Just bring in the paper, and we will honor that price for you." I understand you did provide me with the retraction letter, but it really would have saved me an hour and a half long trip out to Marlboro if I had been told they would not honor the lower price to begin with. At the time I remember researching other dealerships and saw a lower advertised price than the 19k that the dealership was asking for, but the 16k advertised price was the lowest I had seen which was why I decided to take the trip in the first place. Off the record, you mentioned that you ended up selling that car for $2000 more than the sticker price or magazine price? I really don't see many ways to make it up to me now, I mean I wasted an afternoon to find out I was lied to. But I do appreciate your concern on my experience, thanks for your letter.

Hi John,

Thanks for taking the time to respond. I did some more digging. It turns out we didn't even pay for that ad. The vendor ran a free ad for us to "show us great results". We normally don't advertise in those rags and to be honest with you it has been haunting us ever since. We will absolutely NEVER do business with any of those companies again. You are the 2nd person to be mislead by that ad and, while it was never our intent to mislead anyone, the result is still the same. That one free ad has probably been one of the most costly! Again, my sincerest apology for your experience. I would ask that when you are in need of your next vehicle you give me the opportunity to show you how we really do things, I guarantee you will become a fan! I'm not saying we're perfect, but we try to do what is best for our customer's more often than not. You will find I am a very genuine person and if there is ever anything I can do to help you, I will do everything in my power to make it a reality.

Sincerely,
Timothy P. Martell

My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
I had an excellent experience at Marlboro Nissan! I would definitely buy another car from this dealer. They were attentive to my needs and made sure all my questions were answered. And I got a great value! I gave Marlboro Nissan a perfect review because the customer service was exceptional, the quality of work was superior by being professional and efficient, the entire staff was very friendly and my overall experience was positive and refreshing! The staff also worked to find a car that best fit my needs in terms of price range and luxury. I bought a 2008 Nissan Altima and couldn't be happier! The car drives smooth and has all the bells and whistles I could imagine. I feel like a celebrity in my new car and would highly recommend Marlboro Nissan to all my family and friends!

My Review of Marlboro Nissan:
Marlboro Nissan is GREAT! I've dealt with 2 different sales people there and had 2 great experiences. Hi Tim & Todd! But the real secret to their success is the General Manager, Dan Hedin! Danny is the greatest. It doesn't matter if you've been coming there for years or a complete stranger, he makes you feel like a family member and you're back for a reunion. The feeling you get is so different than any other place I've done business - The bottom line is THEY REALLY CARE and it shows. It really seems like there is no problem they can't solve. For you first timers the best advice I can give you is forget how every other dealer does things and let them show you the Marlboro Nissan Way! I was so nervous as a girl going in there, but it was so easy. The last place I bought a car really took advantage of me and I over paid. They got me out, got rid of all my negative equity and even showed me what tricks other dealers use to put people in that situation so that it never happens to me again. Now when I go there I just tell them what I want to buy, how much I want to pay and they make it work! I bought a 2005 Sentra, then a 2006 Altima! This is how its supposed to be! I can't wait until my lease is up next May - I'm getting a new Altima Coupe!
Erin L.
