It is important to us that when we have the opportunity to order a vehicle for a customer that they have a great experience getting their new car or truck. We sincerely apologize that a mistake was made when ordering Mr. Hain's truck, and we regret that GM was not able to adjust the information at the factory in time to correct the mistake. When the truck was delivered with the mistaken package, we offered to give Mr. Hain a vehicle to drive until a new order could be placed and a new truck meeting Mr. Hain specifications could be made. Mr. Hain declined our offer. Allocations of vehicles to GM dealerships are set, they do not fluctuate with special orders done by customers, like in this case. Other manufacturers are different, but we get a set number from GM and it does not change. The original vehicle with the package Mr. Hain did not want went up for sale when Mr. Hain said he did not want the vehicle with the package included by the factory. The truck was purchased by a different customer on 3/15/16 who liked the truck the way it was manufactured. It is always our hope that mistakes don't occur, but when they do we try to come up with a resolution that gets the customer in to the vehicle that they want. We are disappointed we couldn't do this for Mr. Hain, and we now believe that the relationship between Mr. Hain and McLoughlin Chevrolet is too damaged to repair. We are saddened that we will not be able to do business with Mr. Hain.

Ok Lie #1 >>>we regret that GM was not able to adjust the information at the factory in time to correct the mistake. <<< I have since learned that orders cannot be changed once they are entered. I called 3 times a week starting from 2 days after I ordered the truck. They said they were fixing it... there is NO fixing it. It is cancelled then re-ordered Lie 2 >>>When the truck was delivered with the mistaken package, we offered to give Mr. Hain a vehicle to drive until a new order could be placed and a new truck meeting Mr. Hain specifications could be made. Mr. Hain declined our offer. <<<< I was not at all offered a "Vehicle to drive". They did offer to order a new one that would take 2 more months (Like I am going to keep giving them allocation). After that, do you think I would trust them? Fact is that the truck is currently still on the website marked up to 50.995. I have the VIN number. Look, I ORDERED a truck. I did not go there to help you get an expedited customer allocation so you could sell one when demand is high. That is right... customers first then dealerships. It makes sense why they did not cancel and recreate the order for me. Kurt is the GM he KNOWS how the system works and he said he would fix it. He also promised to "eat the package cost" to keep me on the line. Lie #3 >>The truck was purchased by a different customer on 3/15/16 who liked the truck the way it was manufactured. It is always our hope that mistakes don't occur, but when they do we try to come up with a resolution that gets the customer in to the vehicle that they want.<< If that was true, they would have cancelled and recreated the order. They didn't because the reality is that they want to turn ordering a truck into a the same challenge as walking on to the lot and making an impulse buy. Just one that takes 2 FREAKING months of torture. And someone who is willing to pay impulse buying prices walks off with it. I order on good faith, spend 2 months trying get it fixed (it has to be re-ordered) They promise to eat the costs (I have texts to prove it... so does GM now) Then they want more money than they know I have. They win all the way around. It looks like they even had a buyer waiting for my truck? The day after they go back on their promise. They probably said... we will get you that truck! Then they used me to order it for them. Lying jerks think they are so damned smart when people are trusting, the reality is that they are just lying jerks. I am surprised they did not tell me I owed them for a $1000 etching kit for the car I already own. Hey, they tell the truth here... AMAZING. lie lie lie... we couldn't do this for Mr. Hain, and we now believe that the relationship between Mr. Hain and McLoughlin Chevrolet is too damaged to repair. Darn tooting it is... I have every right to be upset and I am finding out that GM does not like end runs around its allocation system.

We sincerely regret that you had a difficult experience. Thank you for allowing us to make things better the following day. I personally apologize that the additional $1,000 added to the price was not clearly explained/understood to be the etch package that you originally wanted. We were happy to take the etch package off the following day per your request. Sincerely, Meaghan McGlasson, Client Relations Manager

I did not request an etch package, nor do I know what that is. Funny that rather than reaching out to me to understand my issue and make it right, they just add another lie to the other 5 that they have told to me thus far in my dealings with them. This place is reprehensible from the top down.
