About two weeks after I purchased 2017 Jeep Compass (bought in 2020) I realized the doors weren’t locking. Made the sound, the clicks, beep. By accident I realized they actually didn’t lock. Had been (bought in 2020) I realized the doors weren’t locking. Made the sound, the clicks, beep. By accident I realized they actually didn’t lock. Had been leaving groceries purchases etc. good thing nothing got stolen. Juan the salesman was no help. Poor at informing customers and very pushy. Never mentioned auto/start stop option. So pretty scary first time you realize it. I felt like he knew about doors and if he didn’t this should have been detected in check before putting it on sale. I call them and they say still under warranty but that will be a 100 service charge. I said nope, nuh, huh nada. They didn’t work from the start. He says you can’t prove that they didn’t work. I replied and you can’t prove they did. I wore him down he ‘waived’ the fee. Took them 5 Tries in 5 weeks to get it right. Final try I go pick up the car, open the gate to test, inside is the full door panel. They neglected to put it back on! Don’t get me started on the grease thumbprint on the beige visor! Sold without a spare and missing the locking piece to hold a spare. These parts are cheap for them and should have included. Year and half into it battery dies. I replace at local auto stores three year warranty. 6 months later acting weird long story short auxiliary battery ( there are two batteries in jeep) died and drained and killed primary thus voiding warranty on newly purchased battery. Costs to diagnose and replace both. $928! Part of this cost is $2.75 document retention fee, $45 ‘shop supplies’ fee. I asked about this bogus charge and how it is calculated. The answer - we calculate this fee based on a percentage of total repair cost’. So in essence ‘ we charge you a fee based on how much we charge you!” Chris B in service, though new did a nice job of trying to keep me informed. But buy from them -Never ever again. More

There is a stipulation in the tires for life agreement that states that you must drive the vehicle at least 15,000 miles before they will honor the agreement and replace the tires. What Metro doesn't tell you is that the tires on the vehicle (as purchased) may not make it the 15,000 miles before they fail state inspection. Because the vehicle hasn't traveled the 15,000 miles, Metro will not replace the tires. They will tell you that at some point in time, the vehicle owner has to take responsibility for their vehicle. That is what happened to me. The tires on my vehicle only servived about 10,000 miles from date of purchase before the Metro Service Adviser told me during a recent service visit that my tires would fail a state safety inspection. When I requested the tires be replaced under the tires for life agreement, I was told there was nothing they could do because I hadn't put the 15,000 miles on the vehicle since it was purchased. SET-UP TO FAIL I have purchased two vehicles from Metro during the past four years and have had those vehicles serviced solely by Metro (including annual state inspections). Up until now, if someone asked me if Metro was a reputable dealer I would have answered yes. However, because of this experience, I will never purchase another vehicle from Metro again and I certainly will not recommend doing business with them. For the management at Metro, I offer these words of wisdom - It takes a good salesman/saleswoman to make the first sale but, it's honesty, integrity and a commitment to serve the customer's needs that will cement future sales. You just lost my business More
Started great but now have questions Hello- I had a few great experiences with this service team after getting a not so good deal on a vehicle at Bertera in Palmer. However my visit tod Hello- I had a few great experiences with this service team after getting a not so good deal on a vehicle at Bertera in Palmer. However my visit today has me puzzled, I brought in my 2014 Patriot due to a recall issue and as part of that, I guess they do a general safety inspection while the vehicl is there, When I picked up my vehicle, I was told I needed 2 new air filters (engine & cabin). At my last repair (rear differential) in in the spring, I was told about this and had since replaced on my own in June. When it was mentioned today, I told the technician that it can't be true as I did the replacement myself 2 months ago and find it impossible to believe they are due yet again. He just chuckled and said the person doing the repair probably just referenced the old paperwork and since they had no record of them being done there, they noted it as still being needed. My conceren is then clearly the parts were not actually inspected if all they went by was service reccords they had on file. Is this common? If so, then please advise but in my mind a safety inspection is actually an inspection of the actual parts that may be cause for concern. Thank you. More
Metro Jeep Chicopee is awful If you didnt buy you car at metro, plan on your cars to be rejected for tinted windows or some other frivolous reason. My car has factory tinted wind If you didnt buy you car at metro, plan on your cars to be rejected for tinted windows or some other frivolous reason. My car has factory tinted windows and they rejected the immaculate 15 year old car with 70k miles. As an engineer i ask a few questions and they act like it was my fault. This place is a joke and want me to buy a car. Go to a differnt dealer ship and dont be fool by the mrs smiths donuts and coffee More

Not only are they courteous, and efficient, but give 100% to their customers. Felicia Goncalves is the manager at this particular jeep dealer. I have bought jeeps at many different dealerships, and had to deal with the service dept, and although many dealerships are helpful, Felicia and Mike Kuzdzal went above and beyond their call of duty to help me with the issues I was having. It is easy to buy a truck or care, but it is hard to find a dealerships that stand behind their product, many do not, but Metro Jeep in chicopee is quite an exception. very satisfied customer More

Wasn't sure exactly what was going on with a few issues on car and he ran me through the possibilities. Did not try to push all sorts of extra work to be done which can be annoying and was a relief coming from a dealership. More
