Straight Forward I almost ALWAYS buy my vehicles from private parties for the experience and you typically get a better car and deal. In this case I could not find wh I almost ALWAYS buy my vehicles from private parties for the experience and you typically get a better car and deal. In this case I could not find what I wanted without plenty of time and travel. I found a car close to what I wanted (2013 M3) at Midwest. And when I first saw the listing I blew it off as I never heard of them and just did not want to deal with a used car place. So it was either travel 1500 miles to get the car I wanted or try Midwest. I talked to Jon on the phone and he was cool no drama, made appointment for next day. Got there and I was somewhat surprised at how upscale the place was. It is clear they dumped a ton of money into their shop. And I quickly realized I was probably buying the cheapest car in their inventory. I looked over the car and it was as clean as you could get, as I looked at their other cars you can tell they choose their inventory carefully and Jon confirmed they don't bring in cars with any sketchy history. I think that's one thing I can say is that should give people confidence to look at something more esoteric here and also the fact they can do the work on the more higher end brands. I don't want to be catered to and charmed, don't need special treatment but if you are a person who wants they they will do it here. I am a buyer who knows what I want and what I want to spend so in that regard it was for the most part an easy buying experience. Did negotiation of price on phone, but there is the usual up and back you get at dealers. The pausing, the let me check with manager style stuff to be expected but it wasn't annoying or painful. And there was mutual respect. Finance guy Rich was straight forward, no xx and had things done ahead of time did not try to sell or push junk I didn't need or want and knew how to read situation. I mean overall it was a guy buying experience at a very nice place and the people I dealt with were good. Overall the experience was one of the better ones I have had at a dealer. Post delivery I had BMW inspect car and body shop. Car had no paint work and vehicle was solid front to back so in that vein hard to complain about anything. If you are looking for a used upper end car these guys are worth a shot. More

I've bought from the best and this was better! My name is Tim and I live in Cedar Rapids Iowa. I've always had a thing for exotic cars and motorcycles but living in Iowa there aren't to many things My name is Tim and I live in Cedar Rapids Iowa. I've always had a thing for exotic cars and motorcycles but living in Iowa there aren't to many things unique other than our local Audi, Mercedes dealers that have 30 cars in stock that are usually the average models most people would want. I work really hard and I'm pretty spontaneous which can be good....and bad. I am truly forced to go out of state to buy the vehicles I desire. I flew to Las Vegas to pick up my Lamborgini to find it had 1 key, not 2 as they told me as well as no books or paperwork. The dealer also surprised me with a $750 documentation fee. When your sitting there with your wife and luggage what do you do? I've been to Texas, LA, StLouis and twice out east to New Jersey and have been told cars were mint just to find bad paint work to a from bumper and my 2013 Audi RS-5 had NO navigation even though there listing and the sales lady told me it did. Again...... Wife..... Luggage.... I have never written a bad media report on any of this because for one that's not me but another is I figure that's part of the risk buying far from home. This is my first review online ever.... And it's a great one. I've had long hair for many years, about 6 weeks ago I shaved my head at 10:30pm and the next day decided I could finally enjoy a convertible. I was in Texas the week before and notice a gorgeous supercharged Jaguar. I went to my coffee place and searched on my phone for a black, Jaguar convertible and 3 or 4 came up within 300 miles of me. I looked at all the listings and there pictures deciding my favorite was at Midwest Motors. I called, ask the receptionist for a younger fun sales person who wouldn't torture me with canned sales talk. She laughed and then I started talking to Jon. I told him right away I loved his car, told him I would come buy it with no trade but I requested he be very honest about absolutely everything with the car and the deal. He wrote down the questions I ask, took my number and said he would call me back. A little over a hour later Jon called and told me very specific things about the car I was looking at. He texted my phone a video of the car as well as started it in there showroom so I could hear what it sounded like. He then assured me of what exactly the paperwork and the deal fees would be. He did as I requested and gave me a buy price that was the best they would be able to do. He then said if I wanted to fly in he would have a car pick my wife and myself up bringing us right to the dealership. For the first time I was pretty impressed..!!! I sat there talking to him and thought..... He did everything I've ask and more. I then thought there must be something wrong so I made him repeat everything to me again. I had no choice but buy the car from this guy!!! We flew in that afternoon, car picked us up at the airport, met Jon and he walked us around my new convertible. It was better than I thought. The car was more car than I thought it was. Love the look, love the sound, lived my entire experience. I will say that Jon still owes me a Chicago pizza as I had to drive back to Iowa but I'm sure he will get me that next time. Great dealer all the way around and a dangerous place to shop is you have a problem wanting unique vehicles like I do, there inventory was awesome!!!!!!!! More
