Took my car to Motor City Lexus for a 100k maintenance, and the whole experience was great. The staff were super friendly and made everything really easy from start to finish. What I really appreciated wa and the whole experience was great. The staff were super friendly and made everything really easy from start to finish. What I really appreciated was that Ares followed up a few days later just to make sure everything was running smoothly. The car feels great now, and I can tell they really take pride in their work. Definitely recommend Motor City Lexus if you’re looking for solid service and people who actually care about their customers. More

My 10,000 mile included service was explained and done very well. I also brought it in for an ac problem of blowing warm air. Originally Matthew explained that the ac was covered under warranty and theref very well. I also brought it in for an ac problem of blowing warm air. Originally Matthew explained that the ac was covered under warranty and therefore no charges were expected. However, it turned out that the cooling coil for the ac was broken due to a road hazard and therefore not covered. He contacted me with a price and I ok’d the repair. He did not mention over the phone that Motor City charged a 3% surcharge for credit cards. Therefore, I was shocked at this increased price. Although the cashier pointed to a card on the counter which was turned around and not seen by me about this fee, she did not explain it until after I questioned the higher price. I was very upset at not knowing this in advance. I asked for the keys back to the wonderful loaner car and they agreed to let me use it to retrieve my checkbook. As I was getting ready to leave, Matthew came down the hall and I told him he did not inform me of this surcharge. He knew I was upset. He offered to make it right by deducting $ from my bill. After some thought on his part he said he probably didn’t say anything in advance was because he expected this to be originally covered under warranty. I thanked him for his coorecting the bill. This is the reason for the high rating. Admittedly it would have been a “1” otherwise. My suggestion is that the law be followed and the information be put onto any estimate so people can make informed choices on payment. I pay cash all the time for this reason. More
