When I finally got Scott on the phone, I was given the price that matched what Hyundai Motor Finance (HMF) gave me via phone and web and he said there would be taxes too. He was able to give the rate on the phone but not the exact amount for some reason. I was psyched because in Colorado the dealers have managed to turn lease buyouts into a scam in their favor so they can charge a dealer fee (most states it's handled directly with HMF for ZERO FEES). Scott made zero mention of a dealer fee so I said I'd be there in 30 minutes. When I arrived, Scott came out after 10 minutes or so and told me he had called me and texted me (of course, to the wrong number) after we hung up to give me more info about not being able to provide a new temporary registration tag and that, well, that dealer "thieves" fee was to be charged anyway. I expressed my disappointment but in the interest of time I said fine, let's do it and you can steal my money even though you lied about it on the phone. I expressed how pathetic the experience had been with the dealer. Scott disappeared to the back room. Some minutes later a lackey who didn't identify himself came out, presumably to assist with the buyout. Being super disappointed in the experience I asked if the GM was around. The lackey said yeah, that's him over there. The guy in the loud suit? Yeah. And that's where things got really crazy. Pretty sure his name is Tyler. I began giving the feedback, same as above. He started making excuses about issues they're having with a mismanaged construction project. I expressed clearly that his excuses were a waste of my time and his. He said I was rude. I said it was rude for his employees to cost me so much phone time and then for them to lie to me on the phone when I could finally talk to one. He insisted that Scott didn't lie to me about the buyout amount but refused to bring Scott over to give his side of the story. Tyler kept insisting that it was "illegal" for them to do a lease buyout without charging the dealer fee. Well, HMF insists that this isn't true, they state very clearly that some dealers in Colorado do, and others don't. Like a lot of car dealership people, he kept trying to redirect to this or that and I wasn't having any of it. I pushed back on every piece of b s he tried to push at me. He kept saying i was rude for not swallowing his nonsense, at one point even telling me I'm the rudest customer he's ever dealt with. This I find hard to believe, the way that this business is run. However, if it is true then I take a lot of pride in that. He doesn't like his nonsense being questioned or refused. He's absolutely the rudest GM I've ever dealt with, and that's certainly saying something. After not being able to produce or even identify with title any state law requiring his dealership to steal money from every single customer with the dealer fee, he said something about how I should know what it is. When I responded that's not my job, it's his, he got miffed and said he didn't want to do business with me. By this time, I wasn't eager to do business with him either. He followed me out the door yammering on with the same lines of b s he'd been using at the desk while getting uncomfortably physically close to me, perhaps believing his size and volume would be intimidating, who knows. Talk about being rude and failing miserably at being able to accept honest and real-time customer feedback. Yikes. Based on this experience and on watching sales interactions with other customers as I waited upon arrival, I'd say this is the perfect dealership to patronize if you're into old school fast-talking sales people, inept staff, and management that has no interest in customer service or feedback. I don't imagine that this feedback will lead to any change but I think it's important to share. More

This was our first time leasing a vehicle and working with Foundation Hyundai. It was a good experience and Ramon was great to work with. I’ve been told that dealers and salespeople often discourage EV’s with Foundation Hyundai. It was a good experience and Ramon was great to work with. After that they said my car was no longer allowed at the dealership and would be trespassing. DO NOT BUY OR HAVE SERVICE HERE, they couldn't even find the dang car when I got there to pick it up. Original issue: After taking in for an oil chage, the gas pedal began responding strangely. The reverse stopped working and om several occasions was completely unresponsive to being pressed all the way to the floor. This happened once, then again followed with inconsistent acceleration that made me and my family nervous. With a 10yr warranty (1.5yrs in) I asked for a diagnostic which I was told would take a dealership 1 day, before deciding whether or not to leave my car or not. After coordinating day care schedules and my wife driving to her job, I arrived at the dealership to be told it would take 5-6 business days before the holiday of thanksgiving (which night bleed closer to 2 weeks in the winter.) I would be provided no loaner/rental vehicle to obtain and transport my infant son and that I was basically out of luck. This has been consistent across several service centers now and I always seem to he told they don't have any loaner vehicles for an issue covered by warranty. This includes even when they cracked my windshield at a different dealership and told me they didn't have any loaners.... even though I had arrived in one. I assume if they cannot keep track of their current stocks and provide service to their customers who spent a lot of $$ on their car, it is because disorganization and incompetence has been hired on to save Hyundai some $$. Their warranty is worthless if they cannot help you when you need it, especially with an issue of a gas pedal becoming unresponsive. I advise against ever purchasing a vehicle from Hyundai because of their warranty. They will not honor it and try to snake out of it anyway they can. More
