Apparently, they are taking a car they really want in trade, broker cars, and had offered my model to a customer only to have it sold out from under them by another store. We discussed details, I faxed them A) The clean title, and B) The original widow sticker. They ran a CarFacts and confirmed everything I told them about service. Tim Cardinale told me that he was authorized by management to extend an offer of a stated dollar amount. I accepted. He confirmed that we had a deal. Then, when I told him I was bringing the car in to complete the deal he tells me that his manager Don Cooper does not want the deal. Now let's get this straight, these guys called me from an ad I'd placed in the paper, checked out the car thoroughly, made an offer, I accepted and they confirmed the terms - and then they changed their minds.
