⭐☆☆☆☆ Buyer Beware of Nissan of McKinney I purchased a 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe from Nissan of McKinney on June 8th, and less than 24 hours later, after only 48 miles of driving, the vehicle displayed a Che 2024 Jeep Wrangler 4xe from Nissan of McKinney on June 8th, and less than 24 hours later, after only 48 miles of driving, the vehicle displayed a Check Engine Light. Before buying this Jeep Wrangler 4xe, I specifically told my salesman, Josue, about a previous Jeep Grand Cherokee Summit Reserve 4xe that turned into a nightmare. That vehicle spent 9½ months at a dealership and eventually required a Lemon Law claim. Because of that experience, I was extremely hesitant to purchase another Jeep 4xe. Josue assured me that if anything went wrong, Nissan of McKinney would take care of me. Unfortunately, the moment there was a problem, that promise disappeared. When I called Josue after the Check Engine Light came on, Josue's response was essentially, "It's under Jeep warranty, take it to Jeep." “you signed on the dotted line we can’t return the vehicle.” When I reminded him of the assurances he made during the sales process, he completely backtracked. Josue then handed his phone over to Zach, who I was told was the Store General Manager. If he was not actually the Store General Manager, then that raises even more questions about honesty and transparency at this dealership. Zach’s response was, "You signed on the dotted line. There's nothing we can do. You're lucky it's still under Jeep warranty." He repeated that multiple times! Zach only suggestion was that they could "trade me out of it." How exactly does that help? I bought a Jeep Wrangler from a Nissan dealership. They do not have another Wrangler to replace it with, and any trade would obviously benefit the dealership financially while costing me even more money. That is not a solution. That is simply another sales opportunity for them. What makes this experience even more concerning is that I was told the deal could not be unwound because the vehicle was already funded and registered. However, Payam, the Finance Manager, still appears to be submitting my credit to lenders as I’m still getting notified of my credit being ran 48 hours after me leaving the dealership, and my bank informed me they cannot refinance the vehicle because it has not yet been registered in my name. Those explanations simply do not match what I am being told by other parties. I cannot prove the dealership knew about the issue beforehand, but it's hard not to question how a Check Engine Light appears less than 24 hours and only 48 miles after purchase. When modern vehicles typically takes 40-90 miles of driving before a Check Engine that's been deleted re-appears again. The timing certainly raises concerns, and questions Nissan of McKinney morals, character and trust. The biggest issue is not the Jeep itself. Any used car can have problems. The real issue is the lack of customer service, accountability, and support after the sale. The promises made during the buying process vanished the moment the paperwork was signed. If you are considering buying a used vehicle, Jeep Wrangler, Jeep 4xe, or any pre-owned vehicle from Nissan of McKinney, I strongly encourage you to do your research, get an independent inspection, and carefully consider whether this is a dealership you want to trust when problems arise after the sale. This has been one of the worst car-buying experiences I have ever had, and I would not recommend Nissan of McKinney to friends, family, or anyone looking for a reliable dealership experience. More
Emailed and tried to get the out the door price for a used Pathfinder and the sales person, Isaiah Guerrero, refused to provide it. I went to the manager's manager's manager and the answer was the same...in short "we choose money over character and honoring our word." I ultimately bought the pre-owned car because of its unique features; but was disappointed time and again by their broken promises and refusal to honor their word. More

I made an appointment to have the cars oil changed and tires rotated. I got to the dealership 25 minutes early. They verified all my information, answered my questions, and took the car back to get start tires rotated. I got to the dealership 25 minutes early.
