We want to clarify that our team performed a full diagnostic on your vehicle and provided detailed printouts and data regarding the engines overall condition which you were provided with. Our initial plan was to begin with addressing the fuel injectors, spark plugs and ignition coils. However, upon further inspection, our technician determined that sludge build up was present in the engine. Due to the nature of the sludge-related damage, cleaning services are not reliable or permanent solution and can present liability concerns. Sludge typically develops due to lack of maintenance over time, and in our professional judgement, any short-term repairs may not resolve the underlying issues. For this reason, based on our diagnostics and experience, we recommended that you replace the engine assembly. Our goal is to ensure a long-term reliable repair not a temporary fix. We understand how frustrating car repairs can be, and we appreciate you bringing your concerns to our attention.
