My Review Of O'Neill Honda:
I had a miserable experience at this service shop. My car had been hit in a relatively bad accident, with the driver's side back door smashed and the side air bags went off. After the car was inspected by the insurance company, I received no phone call or any information about the status of my vehicle. I called multiple times for updates and every time they pushed the finish date back further, knowing that I had out-of-pocket expenses for my rental car. If I hadn't called so often, they probably would STILL have my car.
4 weeks later, when I FINALLY got it back, they gave me the car with zero gas in it, which I thought was very inconsiderate. When I got to the gas station and pushed the button to open the gas tank, it would not open. It took them 4 weeks to finish my car and they didn't even fix it properly. They told me they would drive me to work, fix the gas tank opening, and drop my car off to me later that day. A few hours later they called and said they found another problem with it and had to order a part for it, making me car-less with no way to get home from work, and delaying the return of my car to me even further.
Because they took so long to finish my car, I worried that insurance would not cover the prolonged cost of my rental car. I made this clear to Honda and he assured me that if my insurance didn't cover anything, he would take care of it for me. When, as expected, the insurance company short me over $150, they did not cover me and told me they were not liable for it. I tried calling back several times to explain, only to get told I would get a call back and never hear anything again. I got so sick of the situation that I just gave up and decided $150 wasn't worth all the trouble.
A couple months later now, I recently had to get an oil change and went to a different Honda service shop (because I didn't want to go back to O'Neill). They checked my alignment and my tires were not aligned properly. I had to pay another $100 to get them properly aligned. O'Neill should have checked this and fixed it before returning my car to me.
Overall, I would not recommend this service shop to anyone and personally will never return.
