I found our car somewhere else because their communication was so slow and their prices were deceiving. When I finally talked to them, they told me the car I was looking at was now $6,000 more than yesterday! No explanation given and no attempt to bring the price back to a reasonable level. Do not attempt to do business with this dealership unless you're a very patient person that's willing to shell out $6k over market price. More
I just spent 3+ hours attempting to purchase a new F-250 Lariat Tremor using the Disabled American Veterans x-plan. I drive 125 miles to come and see this and another vehicle. I arrive at Opelika Ford and l Lariat Tremor using the Disabled American Veterans x-plan. I drive 125 miles to come and see this and another vehicle. I arrive at Opelika Ford and link up with salesman I had been communicating with for 4 days. I ask in my communications about X-plan pricing and am told it will be honored. I show up with my son in law and ask about x-plan pricing and I am assured that the dealer will honor the X-plan price again. I test drive both F-250 trucks and decide that the 1st one I drove is what I want. I show the dealer what my cost was using the fordpartner.com website and again was told that dealer would honor that price. I contact wife and daughter to come check out the truck, contact USAA about financing and actually complete financing. I made two trips to the on duty sales manager to get specific questions answered for transmitting the monies to the dealership to finalize this purchase. My family shows up and we get in the truck ready to drive my “new truck” and I ask the sales man to find out about what the tax tag and title amount would be so I could make sure of the amount to be sent. We have the vehicle running and had just put it in gear when the salesman comes back and says that the salesmanager would not allow X-plan pricing on this truck because it is a Tremor. This cost difference would be between 7-9 thousand dollars. I thank the saleman for his efforts, inform him that I will not be back and we were leaving. I don’t understand why this dealer disrespects disabled military and retired military personnel , wasted 3 hours of mine and the salesman time and does not even bother to come and speak with us. So, love ford trucks, but, I won’t give a penny to Opelika ford at any future time. Not recommended for military personnel, veterans or anyone expecting an honest deal. More
We bought a car from this dealer August 9, 2023. The on line price advertised price was $42,000 when they wrote the deal the base price went to $44.000. When we challenged the price we were told that we needed to finance the car thru them. We gave them a $10,000 cashiers check and asked who did they use for financing. They said B of A which we were pre approved for a 6.2% loan at B of A. Our credit score was 877 with B of A. So it seemed Okay. We left with the vehicle to travel back to Tennessee. Now on August 22, 2023 we were contacted by the dealership and were told “we did not sign all the paper work”. By the way we were at the dealership over three hours. They sent the new paperwork on the 22nd and we signed it electronically. Today August 23 we were again called by the dealership about we still needed to sign additional bank paperwork. They forgot to send. They said we would be getting an Airborne overnight. When we asked about the interest rate they finally told us 8.54%! Much higher than the rate we were quoted by B of A, 2.4% more! Totally dissatisfied! These guys really are shady! Buyer beware!!! More
Said my fuel pump was bad , had a suspicion it was a wire issue. They replaced a fuel pump , cleaned the fuel system. They never called to update me. I had to call them. Took it to a friend of mines mechanic and sure enough it was a wire that needed repaired. The service dept. Can't troubleshoot. 1,900.00 shot. Down the drain. Do not take your vehicle for service. Opelika ford ( Fabian & Rickey) sold me on a specific truck and got me to schedule a test drive. Set the test drive up for the next day because the dealership is 4 hours 205 miles one way! Next day I received half a dozen texts messages and pictures of the vehicle wanting confirmation that We were coming! We confirmed and drove the 205 miles to walk into a trashy dealership- literally garbage and fast food trash everywhere, to be told the truck in question cannot even be sold. Then had a “sales manager” offer to fill up a gas tank to make up for their mistake. (4 hours x 2 ppl) x 2 trips! At the very least you take your hourly wage and offer it @16 hours you’ve taken from me. Unless you have time and money that needs to be thrown away- you should stay clear of this establishment- they literally have no idea what’s going on or what’s for sale. @Ford #ford. Zero Stars More

Bought a vehicle a few months back and the experience was great. Fast forward several months and we received calls asking if we wanted to trade our truck in. So I go up to call their bluff. They have me pick out a more expensive truck and then couldn’t do anything. Turns out I am not 10 grand upside down in this truck with less than 5000 miles. They are careless salesmen who draw you in just to get you going. Stay away! More
Had service today 167 dollars to tell me I had dead battery. I told him the battery was bad to start with told me he couldn't do anything til battery was replaced.
