I strongly advise others to be cautious when dealing with Opelika Ford. My experience with salesman Tony Conley and GM Ed Hudson has been extremely frustrating. After purchasing a vehicle that completely Opelika Ford. My experience with salesman Tony Conley and GM Ed Hudson has been extremely frustrating. After purchasing a vehicle that completely stopped working, the dealership agreed to unwind the deal and give me the value of my trade-in. However, I was only given a “We Owe” form and have been left waiting without transportation, without my money, and without confirmation that my finance company has even been contacted for payoff. This has caused me to miss work and lose income while waiting for a resolution. I expected a much higher level of professionalism and urgency from a dealership and its management team. At this point, I’m hoping they resolve the situation quickly so further action isn’t necessary. More
After looking at several vehicles one after the other had issues, but Spenser was great he worked through what seemed like a lost cause until I found the vehicle right for me. The dealership could have provided a better experience, there are lots of associates just walking around and staring they aren’t friendly and it’s almost like your an inconvenience. Spenser great! Purchased a new 2024 Jeep Wrangler a year ago. The hardtop has a crack in it. There is no further damage that would indicate a point of impact. I was advised to start a warranty call with Jeep which was fruitless. They directed me back to the dealership. I was instructed to have my jeep there to be assessed and that Opelika Jeep would act on my behalf in order to right this. The opelika technician and service manager communicated that they saw no damage to my vehicle and that it appeared to be a factory issue missed in quality control or a stress fracture. They said they had sent all documentation to jeep. My jeep sat at the dealership for a week with no follow up other than me calling every day for an update. I went and picked it up and continued to call. After two weeks, the service manager called me and said that the warranty team said that the damage was due to an outside force. Which may or may not be the case as I have emailed the service manager three times asking for the pictures and documentation he submitted on my behalf with no response. He did pass me off to a lady with the warranty department, and I cannot get a return email from her either. It's terribly disappointing to have a car you love have no backing from the manufacturer and a "hometown" dealership with no regard or care for those in the community whom they serve. I was given the invoice price of almost 5,000 for a new top (which I understand is nothing for a company like jeep or a dealership this large, but that's not the case for most people), with an assured word that the dealership submitted it as a jeep issue as the jeep no other damage (which an outside impact would've caused), cannot get in touch with anyone with the warranty department at jeep nor any follow up or help from the opelika service manager. This whole process has gone on over a month now. More
