Open Road Subaru

Walked Out while dealing with a "Sale person" I deal with Open Road BMW so decided to stay in the family as I get great service from them. Wanted to purchase a Crosstrek, when to OpenRoad and to I deal with Open Road BMW so decided to stay in the family as I get great service from them. Wanted to purchase a Crosstrek, when to OpenRoad and took a test drive. Got passed to a sale person after the drive. Sale person never introduced himself, so never even got a name or business card (Strike 1). The salesperson search for a car, which he was able to get within a couple of weeks. He found a car, I asked for a price. He told me I had it via the internet quote, my response. The cars had different a VIN, he priced it and in fact, the price was not the same. Why as a customer should I do the work to validate a price? (Strike 2). During the 30 mins I sat at his desk, he stepped away at least 3 times, each time for over 5 mins. The last time he disappeared, I got up and walked out of the showroom (Strike 3). The salesperson had a car I was interested in, gave a decent price and I was ready to ask for the paperwork for purchase, but no excuse for bad customer service. I left as I'd rather pay more for good customer service than save a few for bad. There are good sales people out there and bought the car a few days later from one. More

Accessories ordered for my car were used for some other car. Had to make several trips just to get all the things I had paid for installed. Mgmt doesn't even want to talk and has no regard for customer's time. I would not recommend this dealer. Wish I had gone to some other Subaru dealer! More

Refusing contact when it comes to warranty refund Bought a car from here, the GM at the time was good which was why I got the car from here. I also bought a warranty which is refundable. His communication was terrible and wouldn't respond to requests. They included a $200 fee for laser etching the VIN on the vehicle and said it was a "mandatory" practice at their dealer. If it is mandatory then they can pay for it and not charge the customer. The finance person was rude and wouldn't share any numbers in advance. Their ability to take care of DMV issues for a purchase from someone out of state were atrocious. Overall, a sketchy place I would not deal with in the future. More

We wanted to buy a car, dropped off our financing paper work on a Friday, they did Their financing office is completely unethical and disorganized! We wanted to buy a car, dropped off our financing paper work on a Friday, they did not even try to process it until 5 days later. We had to track them down to run it then 3 Days later we have an appointment to pick it up and it takes them 1.5 hours to print the papers. Finally when my registration comes in the day I owe an additional $99 because they calculated dmv fees, when I questioned how those set fees differ they then said, no it’s the price of the car that’s different. The signed agreement meant nothing to them!! Terrible awful dealership that does not deserve anyone’s business. More

Car Hit During Servicing Disappointed. I have normally had favorable service experiences. However at my last service once they returned my vehicle to the lot, it seems that so Disappointed. Given that I noticed the body damage some days later, I asked Subaru to review any surveillance , and provide their policy on matters like this. I was advised that they are not responsible for damage to vehicles on their lot, and parking my car there was akin to parking at a supermarket...park at your own risk. No accountabilty, no apology. So my $185.00 oil change has turned into a $600.00 oil change/body job . They don't have to worry about me frequenting their "supermarket" again. More

Will lies about everything to get you in the door. I was informed that a car on their website was at the dealer by "Will" over the phone. I explained that I was on crutches and that the person purchasi I was informed that a car on their website was at the dealer by "Will" over the phone. I explained that I was on crutches and that the person purchasing the car was ill. I drove an hour to this dealer because "Will" explained that he would beat another dealers deal. I arrived and found out that the car wasnt there and then they tried to upsell me a different car. I went there with the intentions of having a problem free car purchase and i had nothing but problems. Their internet sales rep Will says anything to get you into the dealership and then they do not honor anything that was previously promised. Its time to start the search over again and look for another honest dealer. More

Wilfred was welcoming and made sure I was well-taken care off since I opened the door. John was incredible with handling the finance portion, making the last half a breeze with zero discomforts or worries. Saed was an amazing individual whose knowledge of cars and honest demeanor made the experience a delight. Wes, the General Manager, who made it all possible, was a true gentleman. Open Road Subaru is truly an amazing establishment that goes above and beyond and I will recommend them to anyone. I will certainly return to them in the future without hesitation. More
