Purchased Subaru Outback 3.6 limited Feb 2012 from this dealership; fair experience. Purchased Subaru (synthetic oil) service agreement (3000 to 45K miles) while awaiting first 3000 mile oil change. Firs dealership; fair experience. Purchased Subaru (synthetic oil) service agreement (3000 to 45K miles) while awaiting first 3000 mile oil change. First service resulted in incorrect oil being added (VW 5W40 vs Sub 5W30, service writer claimed typo on receipt as they only used 5w30.) Also shorted 1 qt (6 vs 6.9 qt) which service writer initially suggested was due to engine use of oil for 1000 miles! Writer stated he added 1 qt of synthetic Subaru 5W30. Returned for 7500 mile service: first time through, wrong oil(conventional GTX 5w40 vs synthetic) and no tire rotation completed. (My wife was challenged about this when she phoned...how could she tell? To which she responded " we marked the tires." Back for corrections: reportedly flushed and refilled, with new filter, and tires were rotated. (We were told the tech had forgotten to rotate the tires.) Noted on receipt only 6 qts and "5w4" oil. Back to dealership again, yes oil was full (~7 qts)... all VW 5w40 again, and they had left a quart of conventional oil in the engine. Flushed, refilled and new filter installed. (This time the oil change observed by my wife, and she was provided with an empty bottle of Subaru 5W30 synthetic oil.) So, incorrect oil since at least 3000 miles until final change at 7500 mile. Poor and incomplete service, incompetence, arrogance, and did they actually lie to us three times about the oil? And, the best George Greenway can say is "sorry". Not sorry we misrepresented the situation, inconvenienced you, and wasted 5 (or more) hours of your time... how can we make this up to you? Just, "sorry." Subaru Corporate stepped in, and George (incorrectly) indicated to them we were satisfied. Not by a long shot! Subaru Corporate seems concerned. Incompetence is one thing, but three strikes, and they are out. We will further inconvenience ourselves by going to a dealer ~10 miles away vs our "neighborhood dealer" and hope that others who receive this kind of incompetent sloppy service and lack of respect from this dealership report it to Subaru. Wish I could give 0 stars. Purchased a car a month ago. They did not register my car with my insurance agency. They did not register my tags (transfer) till 2 1/2 weeks after the purchase of the vehicle. O They did not register my car with my insurance agency. They did not register my tags (transfer) till 2 1/2 weeks after the purchase of the vehicle. Overcharged me for registration fees and have yet to receive the difference back to me which is owed to me by law. Very shady business practices. I.e changing price of vehicle while sitting down with finance manager. Was suppose to send me bolts for front plate holder, 1 month later? Nothing. Mr. Sullivan, Amy Mercer and Jerry do not pick up their phone calls and do not return calls. Avoid this dealership. These sort of corrupt businesses need to be put out of business. More
I would like to express my continuous positive experience with your staff which include but not limited to the operators, cashiers, parts department, sales and service department. I purchased a new 2010 VW with your staff which include but not limited to the operators, cashiers, parts department, sales and service department. I purchased a new 2010 VW CC from your dealership in July 2010. I’ve been absolutely satisfied with the purchase, expectations of the vehicle and service provided for the maintenance of the vehicle. Since the purchase of my vehicle, I have now changed my view point and past experience at dealerships from grim to grin. The staff at Waldorf, Volkswagen has demonstrated professionalism, understanding, patience, knowledge and a sense of humor (which helps on a Saturday). I have encountered several individuals at your dealership, regardless if via phone or in person; the results are the same. It’s obvious that Customer Service is a large part of your reflection. Without getting into specific with my vehicle, your staff has exemplified all the qualities of a professional establishment. I would like to take this opportunity and thank each and every person at your place of business. Keep up the good work and continue to hire the best of the best. KUDOS to Waldorf VW/Subaru Dealership; again thanks to your entire crew!! More
We bought our Subaru Impreza recently and are very happy with our experience. The first time I went to just look at Subarus, I was not ready to buy which I made very clear to the salesman, Jim, and he stil with our experience. The first time I went to just look at Subarus, I was not ready to buy which I made very clear to the salesman, Jim, and he still showed me around to several different cars. When I went in a second time a few months later, again, he was very happy to show us around. He did a lot of work with his manager to find us the car we wanted, in the color we wanted and a price and monthly payments we could handle. I have also been there a couple of times for service with our Subaru Legacy. The time of service was as estimated and the waiting area was cozy. More

I am now the proud owner of the very hard to find new 2012 Subaru Impreza. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I love the sales team at Waldorf Subaru and think that I got a great car at a wonderful price. I was 2012 Subaru Impreza. WHAT A GREAT EXPERIENCE!! I love the sales team at Waldorf Subaru and think that I got a great car at a wonderful price. I was even given the opportunity to buy my choice of either of TWO new white impreza models ordered just for me (that's right, just for me) to see which one I preferred. I chose the hatchback. As CEO of a healthcare organization in Charles County, Maryland, I have to get to work in bad weather so the new impreza was just what I was looking for. This dealership, expecially Jim Orazio, is wonderful. They beat the pricing of other dealers in Annapolis and Baltimore, gave me top dollar for my trade in, and got me 2.7% financing for four years. What is not to love? I was in and out in 2 hours. I was even given some free accessories like a cargo mat for the hatch to keep my new car dog hair free and a cargo cover to keep belongings in the hatch safe from outside view. Two years from now when my 14 year old daughter inherits this new baby, I am going back for the sports model for myself! I am now a loyal Waldorf Subaru customer and will send others to them as well. Do yourself a favor and drive past all those other dealerships that make the experience miserable. Get a new car, at a great price, with top dollar for your trade in. See the crew at Waldorf Subaru! I found Waldorf Subaru Volkswagen honesty in dealing and dedication to service of excellence. They are highly recommended. I had bought a 2012 Outback from them. Despite year's end busy dealing and closing; dedication to service of excellence. They are highly recommended. I had bought a 2012 Outback from them. Despite year's end busy dealing and closing; they took the time to deliver my car with completed answers to questions related to warranty and after sale service. I had the opportunity to put their service department to test the very next day as the Outback's brake recall kicked in. They quickly scheduled the service and put me on a loan car for my convenience. I am now back on the road again and I know the brake recall on my Outback was fixed for good. Thanks Waldorf Subaru. I would buy from you again if and when a Diesel version offered next few years in the States! More
My wife was in the market for a new vehicle, so I stopped in just to see what they had to offer. After purposely walking around the lot alone, I went into the showroom to get brochures on the models I was i in just to see what they had to offer. After purposely walking around the lot alone, I went into the showroom to get brochures on the models I was interested in. There I was greeted by Jim Orazio, who was very pleasent and extremely knowledgeable of Subarus. He answered all my questions and then some. Not once was there any pressure toward making a purchase. I was actually told to spend some time on it and call him if there's anything I need to know or need help with. So I left with brochures in hand and happy with the experience I just had. A few days later, my wife and I went in armed to the teeth with research info, knew exactly what we were willing to pay and were ready to walk if we couldn't negotiate something close. we walked in, found Jim, and told him which vehicle we were interested in. He had it pulled out of the showroom, handed us the keys and off we went. The wife loved it, but wasn't happy with one of the options that was installed. We were shown a few other vehicles on the lot that were similarly equipped and my wife chose 2 that she would consider. Now comes the part that I was ready for, the negotiation battle. I had the price in my head and figure it was just a matter of time before the typical dealership practices take place when they try to get you somehow on the backend or trade to up their profit. Jim asked us if we wanted to talk vehicle price first or if we wanted to have our trade-in appraised (this caught me off guard because it's unusual). We talked vehicle price first while my trade-in sat outside. Jim pulled out a sheet with the vehicle and option prices on it, pointed to a number and said you can have it for $500 below that number. It was quite a few hundred below what I was ready to fight for. This also caught me off guard, because it was lower than I already thought was fair. So, now I thought, they're just going to get me on my trade-in. He had it appraised and it came right in the range I thought it was worth. Everything they offered me was as good or better than I already thought was fair market value. From there we met with Arandre Powell in finance. Our credit isn't perfect, but he did everything he could to get us an interest rate as low as possible. He came close to our bank's rate. We agreed that was a good rate and asked if it was okay to shop around for a better rate from our bank. He gave us a couple days to see if we can find something better before our paperwork is submitted through their bank. He was extremely pleasant, helpful, and also didn't pressure us in anyway to buy anything extra. I've purchased 12 vehicles in the last 20 years and can honestly say that my experience with Waldorf Subaru was the best experience I've had with any dealership. Everyone I talked to was very pleasant and approachable. The price I was given was lower than I expected and had absolutely no pressure sales tactics from anyone. I'll definately be going back when I'm back in the market for another vehicle. --Proud new owners of a 2012 Subaru Forester More
