I recently purchased a used Lexus RX 350 from Oxmoor Ford in Louisville with only 6,000 miles. As an out-of-state buyer based in Atlanta, Georgia, I had no opportunity to personally inspect the vehicle prior in Louisville with only 6,000 miles. As an out-of-state buyer based in Atlanta, Georgia, I had no opportunity to personally inspect the vehicle prior to purchase. Therefore, I relied solely on Oxmoor Ford’s representations regarding the vehicle’s condition. Before committing, I made direct inquiries about any material defects, including scratches, dents, curb-damaged wheels, or any mechanical or cosmetic issues. Oxmoor Ford’s employees repeatedly assured me that the vehicle was "immaculate" and free from damage. Based on these affirmations, I purchased a non-refundable, one-way plane ticket and traveled to Louisville. It was immediately clear that Oxmoor Ford had materially misrepresented the condition of the vehicle. The passenger side mirror was cracked underneath — a defect that could not have been missed during a good-faith inspection — and two of the wheels showed clear curb damage. These were not minor oversights; they constituted significant, undisclosed defects that Oxmoor Ford either negligently failed to disclose or willfully concealed knowing that I would be stuck in Louisville with my one-way ticket. Upon notifying Oxmoor Ford after taking possession, the dealership refused to take any reasonable corrective action or offer any reasonable form of restitution. Their behavior constitutes bad faith negotiation and borders on fraudulent misrepresentation, raising serious concerns regarding compliance with basic consumer protection laws. This experience reflects not just poor customer service but potential violations of consumer rights. I strongly advise all prospective buyers — especially those purchasing from out of state — to exercise extreme caution. Oxmoor Ford has demonstrated a pattern of deceptive practices, failure to disclose material facts, and disregard for fair dealing obligations. I urge consumers to take their business to a dealership that upholds honesty, transparency, and respect for customer trust — values that Oxmoor Ford clearly does not prioritize. More
Austin Sharp was a pleasure to work with. Very transparent and up front. Straightest shooters I dealt with during my vehicle purchasing process. Very transparent and up front. Straightest shooters I dealt with during my vehicle purchasing process. More
